Really like that one.

I was poking around in the five dollar sale bin and found The Toy with Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason. It's probably one of the cheesier comedies I've seen, but it still had its funny parts. The little kid really got on my nerves though. He was as fake as McDonald's cheese, and by the end of the movie I wanted to kick whoever gave birth to him.

Memoirs of a Geisha

I haven't read the book, but the movie is awesome. The movie managed to captured every aspect of what it means to live in shadow and longing. I found it to be extremely emotionally charged, and I even found myself sobbing a couple of times.

Grade: A

lady in the water

just saw lady in the water last night... the inconsistencies in this movie will bother a lot of people, but i think it must be taken into account that this is a "make-it-up-as-you-go" children's bedtime story. its a cluttered mess, but that makes it endearing and i think night intended it to be this way. however the pacing is off and aside from giamatti the acting isn't quite up to par (i did like the asian girl though). also i'm a little sick of m night showing up in his own movies; making a small cameo appearance would be fine, but playing a vital supporting role (even being a decent actor) irks me. all in all it wasn't a bad movie. the sixth sense, unbreakable, signs were better, but not the village. all we can hope for is that night's movies will keep getting better.

Pee wee's big adventure. I understand the cult status this movie has, but i have to admit, after seeing it for the first time since i was 10 (20 years, eek), i can say honestly i am surprised Tim Burton got another movie deal after it. God what an irritating waste of celluloid....

Legion Of The Dead

Decent (although common) mummy story....Incantation brings back high Priestess, 6 souls have to be taken to awaken the six mummy warriors, goal: take over the world...

Pretty good gore effects (except for the lame ass CGI blood in the beginning...Blood is one thing that should NEVER be CGI, and never has to be)...Just not ENOUGH gore or effects

Could have been a halfway good movie, but wasn't...Actually...It sucked...
