It's hysterical!

And this, even if you don't like Friends... it's all about your kitty. ;)

Why it's subtitled in Spanish I'll never know...

Joey's reaction about fits mine when I saw your cat for the first time.

LOL! YES! OMG! Ok, I was actually just about to send this very video to YOU. No kidding - I've seen it before and it makes me giggle every time. :) Ripley does the same thing. I LOVE that cat.

hahahaha - I'm such a sucker. I LOVE watching cats climb those. Ripley goes nuts on the top perch of hers and then she'll sleep in the condo during the night - We call it her "Princess Palace" (you can blame the boyfriend for the name - not me!!!).

How old are your kitties?

LOL - I love it! Maybe we'll start calling it "Lucy's Princess Palace" - she's the only one that uses it.

Lucy is 2, she'll be 3 in March; Logan is 11, she'll be 12 in May; and Cherokee is 9, I think she'll be 10 in April or May. I'm not sure when her birthday is.

Lucy likes to play "catch me if you can". She'll run up to you with this freaked out look on her face, run away, stop and look back to see if you're chasing her.

ChronoGrl 12-30-2008 11:27 AM

LOL! YES! Ripley loves playing tag with us. It's actually pretty adorable... And she'll stand outside a door, "hiding" and wait for you to come out, at which point she jumps at your legs.

Oh. My. GOD, Angra.

She's GORGEOUS. I just want to rub her belly! :D

She IS a Bengal, right? I LOVE that breed.

Can I ask... (sorry)... Was she expensive? Bengals can be pretty pricey 'round here. We paid a pretty penny for our hairless one ourselves.

How do you pet that thing though? Does it respond to the human touch?

Cheebs - That little girl is actually really really cool. I'm curious with V's question too - Does it respond to touch?
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f43/BJA1981/Bug2.jpg
(just linking 'case anyone missed it)

I don't know really...this one has clearly been handled sufficiently by the breeder, because it's completely human friendly.
I mean, if you go near it I assume it likes body heat or something because it'll crawl on to you...my other older/larger one I had last time did much the same, just sat more still, this things kind've hyper.
I know they can FEEL human touch, as she'll turn around and look if you touch her back, and as I said before they seem to sense body heat and also SEE very well - if I put one hand remotely near the other she will start reaching out with her front hands to try and grab/climb on.
She drinks water off my hand too.
Never really liked standard stick insects that much, but these look cool, and they're very docile...when she walks around on her 6 legs she looks like some kind've battlebug-robot thing.

Here's this cat thing I thought was funny.

ChronoGrl 12-30-2008 06:46 PM

Cheebs - That buggie is AWESOME. I love the fact that she'll lick water off you. Very cool!!

Also - The video is adorable. heehee - I'm such a sucker for cat videos. :D

My cat of 15 years, Buster, was diagnosed with terminal cancer yesterday, i've had him since the age of 4. He was the greatest companion I have ever had, and I dont know what I'm going to do without him, the 12th will be the last day I will ever see him, as I have to go to NZ then. The past 2 days have been the hardest 2 days of my entire life, I love this cat more than any living thing that has ever walked the earth, and I will miss him terribly.
I wont be posting on here anymore for a while, i need to get my self together and cherish my last days with him.

I am so sorry to hear this. You have my sincere sympathy. I remember when we had to have the dog I grew up with put to sleep. She was the first loved one I'd ever lost. But one thing that helped is knowing how much she knew she was loved during her life. Keep remembering that he knows how much he is loved and keep telling him that when you can.

Take care man. It's hard, but you'll get through it. It's going to be hard with every pet you have and love in the future too. But knowing you gave them a loving, safe home helps. They add so much to our lives. We love them and they love us, unconditionally. It's wonderful for both you and your little furry friend. He knows you love him.

Phalanx 01-06-2009 09:41 PM

15 Years man, not a bad run for a cat, yeah?
Enjoy the last week you've got together and all, make sure to give him all his favourite meals, nothing's too special right now.
Best of luck moving along in advance.

I thank you all deeply for both your sympathy and your support. He was taken today to the vet to see whether he was in pain or not, luckily he is still doing well and has gained an ounce since the last visit. There is a slight chance I might see him again when I get back from NZ. Here is Buster in all his glory, i took these pics today. he sits in my lap now as I post this.

He's beautiful mothman!

And I'm glad to hear he is doing well and isn't in any pain. He certainly looks content! You never know, animals can survive some amazing circumstances for much longer than we expect.

How long do you have to be in NZ? Sorry, I probably missed a detail somewhere.

Marroe 01-08-2009 10:44 PM

What a pretty kitty, Mothman. I just hope he stays happy and comfortable through everything.

Here's Soraya acting weird as usual

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...2/clara589.jpg

As I was sitting here typing I got a little worried because I heard scratching near my front door. I looked and saw my fat cat was still laying in the rocking chair asleep so I looked out the window and there was a little gray kitten sitting on my porch. Sweet looking cat but I hope my cat doesn't wake up and see it because she likes to fight with other animals through the front window. I know she'd run and hide if she were really confronted.
