ok - so i'm watching what i guess is about to be the end of 30 days of night and as a real-time commentary - i thought this movie wsa pretty unimpresive.
cool idea - decent actors - but the people were just so pathetic and stupid. i mean as i can tell there are at least three ways to kill the vampires - sunlight (discovered stupidly late and used with remarkable lack of effectiveness; cutting off head - should have been right at the beginning; and blowing their heads off (i saw at least three vampires with their heads blown 'clean off' and i don't recall seeing them regenerate). but instead we get this sneaking around and hiding without a single 'plan' to save themselves or kill the baddies. i'm just really disappointed. |
ok - am now at end of 30 Days of Night and feel that this is an incredibly stupid ending - do you mean to tell me that no one in this Alaskan town had a high powered rifle with a scope? no one could start pegging vampires in the head???? jesus - what a cornball way to end it

at work making up a project that got fried by a computer glitch yesterday (i only have time to type this because its encoding!)
the worst part is its the first sunny day in weeks and i'm stuck here with my grumpy puppy at my feet wondering why we're inside instead of out enjoying the day!! ugh |

Right now I'm finishing up the plans for my trip to California. I'm going in june To hook up with my 19 year old daughter Destiny. We will be going to Winchester house. You get to see 110 of the 160 rooms. then we are going to Santa cruz Beach and boardwalk for the day. We also will be going to Six flags. We are going to see a horror movie and go out to a really nice place for dinner. I'm not sure what else we will be doing But i will be there for 2 weeks. I have been saving money for 5 months. I'll have 800 left after my round trip Tickets are paid for so I think we'll have plenty of money to do what ever we want.
God I can't wait!! :D :D |
