Very weird film - Love the way it mixes happy "Riverdance" style music when all the school kids jump infront of the train.

How was it? I've heard a little hype about it, and I've been thinking about giving it a rental.

enjoyable. i liked it.

It's certainly worth the rental,a little slow going at first but good.I've heard some of the hype...the Korean "Apocalypse Now" and "as good as Session 9".I'm not sure about all that but it's a good film and worth the time in my opinion.

I'm watching Oldboy and Audition tonight, and I can't wait for either of them! Can't believe I procrastinated them for so long :) I assume each one is amazing, right? And I know the whole "slow until the end" rule for Audition. :)

Saw Oldboy last night. Excellent movie!
Very nicely shot and keeps you in suspense right to the very end. Riveting stuff.

Fudoh. Miike-san is an absolute genious. Went a little over the top with the hermaphrodite.

One has to wonder what runs through Miike's head sometimes, this movie was a grab bag of zombies, song and dance numbers, claymation, and even had a sing-a-long. Very interesting movie...

If you have any interest in onmyo or Japanese history in general, this film is worth watching. It's really kinda silly though. Not terrible, but not really worth owning. Overall: 5/10

Am a HUGE Hideo Nakata fan so was cool to finally see this film and i quite enjoyed it. It's very basic now but has some creepy moments and good atmosphere.

A creepy and poignant study on loneliness and ....oh yeah..ghost and the Apocalypse.Lets hope the remake doesn't fuck it up.

Thai drama/horror.


For some people "Nak nak" might be a beautiful movie about eternal love. But the reason I ordered this one, was because it was said to have a very scary ending.... Oh please.

I thought it was a long, dull, slow-going love story about a man who comes home from war to his wife and newborn child, unaware that they both are ghosts, and therefore just continues his normal life together with them...Zzzzzzz...

No doubt this movie demanded some outstanding performances from the actors playing husband & wife, because the story between those two builded on lots of emotions. I didn´t think they were all THAT good, but what do I know, i´m not Thai.:rolleyes:

And what the hell was up with their black teeths???

if you are wondering, in some areas of asia , persons chew nuts

that stain their teeth black.

Or maybe they don´t have toothbrushes in the jungle? That would be another explanation...
