Although I hated the new glove, Wes Craven's New Nightmare was a good movie. Made Freddy seem real. Freaky. I loved it.

Does anyone else think they should make a freddy film which takes it back old-school? Where freddy is not a cartoon character (as he has been) and instead is a real frightening scary bastard? Something like the first one? This is just last nights drunken babble!!! But i think it would be the tits if New line got their act together and made a real dark, vicious Elm Street film.

Yeah I think that they should. I'm sorry guys I've been on vacation so I haven't had time to reply. Of course New Nightmare wins, I'll make sure I put up another one soon!

Cartoon character? What is that suppose to mean? If you're talking about his wicked sense of humor, whats so wrong with that? Sure they should amke him a bit more frightening, but his evil and wicked sense of humor is a must-stay. Sure it makes him seem more like a comedy but thats what we need. Like Stephen Kings IT, he puts in the humor and horror. Freddy likes to scare them bfore he kill them. Nightmare 3 shows a good example. He could've killed each kid in their first or second nightmare, but he didn't. He likes to scare them to death. Scare them so much so they don't even want to sleep. But everyone has to sleep something.
