There was a great DOS game called Veil of Darkness that revolved around hunting a vampire. Sid Meier's Darklands created a bleak medieval world with lots of horror elements and a harsh reality that pissed off many a power gamer. Baldur's Gate 2 has several moments of horror and a strong horror plot at its core. As for pencil and paper roleplaying games Deadlands features a dark, steampunk wildwest.

Right here I just started playing it, the second one! The first was awesome and It drew me into a trance, the second is doing the same!

Ooooh how nifty. I just saw this here with the umping and what not... and whiel I am not really sure how these lest-ey things work here (I will research it around when I get some time) I'd be pleased to help out ehre. I think there are som fantastic suggestions and some which are just too thin on horrific elements to truly fit, as well as some pretty surprising omissions from my POV.

I am actually gonna have quite a bit of time on my hands at the end of the week, and I'd love to help this get cleaned up.
