I like it when Billy
Zane got killed in Critters, and it bit his gingers of and bit into the stereo, then I think it shot him down with the parrsaliseing spikes, that was cool.

This is not a death in a horror movie but is pretty brutal all the same.American History X,the kerb biting scene, that makes me flinch every time i see it.

Jason Mewes in "Feast" just because of the reaction he made.

I think it was the mayor in "Slither", but he said "Please kill me" and the exact second he finished the sentence he got his head blown off.

The telephone cord in "Halloween"

Anything in the "Evil Dead" movies

Dennis Hopper in "Land of the Dead"

But the death that actually made me mad was Jason Lee in "Dream Catcher" he was the only good part of that movie.

There's more that I can't remember.

Yea I agree that one is pretty crazy. I remember seeing it in teh Theatre and every one gasped.

I was just thinking of The Lost Boys when he kills one vampire with the bow and arrow and then says "death by stereo" lol, so cheesey but great.
And then when Michael Kills David on the horns of some dead animal. One of my fav movies of all time.

When we talk about graphic violence in non horror films I must mention Fight Club when heīs sitting over a guy and just punches more and more while the guy doesnīt react and just dies, thatīs violent I must say.

The Thing
when the guy's chest caves in and becomes a mouth and bites the other guys arms off. Then his head rips itself off and grows little legs
(best death ever)

Top horror movie deaths? That's a tough one. I mean, what makes a death "tops"? But I will give some that hit home when I veiwed the movies for the first time.

Alien - The first chest bursting scene, classic! (at the time)

Aliens - Bishop being ripped in half by Queen Alien at end, puking up whitish fluid and white innards seeping out of him.

Final Destination - Girl and the bus...first time viewing....out of nowhere!

Nightmare on Elm Street - Tina's death was some kind of freaky (at the time)

Hannibal - Cuts guy's belly open, nooses him, throws him out window, guts splatter on the street below....did this really have a point to the film? YUCK!

Hostel - The final death scene in the restroom...you almost feel the rage in the main character.

Scanners - yea....you know why!

TCM (remake) - the girl blowing her head off....whoa!
