The Village (GAY or GOOD)???!!!!

Hi-
I live in Australian and The Village that new horror movie is just out in Australia and I am probably going to see it in the next 5 days, but I need people to tell me if it is good or gay. Please tell me what sorta horror movie it is.
Is it one of those annoying ones where it ends and you want more answers and stuff?
Is it one of those ones where they go to extreme measures and crazy things happen like ghouls and ghosts and retarded things come (like Jeepers Creepers for an example)?
Or is it one of them hard to understand, good and sophisticated ones??
Or perhaps a mixture of both....

I'd go with GAY and I ay even seen it yet. My mate went and told me what happens. Guessed that even before he told me.

Basically......if you saw Signs and liked it....then go. But I ay gonna waste valuable beer money on a film like that.

I spent my $8.50 to see it, so you should too. Go see it with the thinking that it is a dramatic thriller, and not a horror movie and you'll at least not be disapointed.

Did anyone else who saw "The Village" figure out what the twist was going to be halfway through the film? I knew where the movie was going the minute I caught my first glimpse of the monsters.

i've seen a few clips of it on the tv.... and from them i could work out what the twist in the film was about.

It was great, it may be one of my fav M Night Shyamalan films but their all great.

It had great acting, very good music giving the whole film great atmosphere. It had some "jumpy bits" which again where done really well but it also has alot of drama and so romance. Not any gore unless you include some blood and dead animals but thats no problem, I wasnt expecting gore from Mr Shyamalan.

The plot was excelent, the twist where great, 2 twists and quite unexpected ones at that and also a few minor twists. I really enjoyed it. Im definately gonna get this on dvd.
