I have seen on other boards where they are talk of a 3rd installment of this film, I know a lot of people on here dont like this film, but I dont give a shit. I am looking forward to it though... great kills, and classic 80`s slasher style acting... :D

BM & BM2 are the B-movie, meat and potatoes type film that every horror fan should love. If you only watched big name, glossed over, high budget films, you'd be seriously disappointed. Campy/B movies are great, and don't disappoint me the way the "big" films do. I think the villains name in the show is Trevor Moorehouse? He's no MM, Jason, or Freddy but the stuff they have been putting out with these characters is pretty crappy, so it's as broad as it is long. I would welcome a Bloody Murder 3.

I thought that the first was okay I actually really liked the twist ending. The second wasn't bad, but I just don't like the fact that the outfit on the cover isn't what the killer wears. I am sure that the third one will go along with several of the better kills and hopefully bring together the stories in a coherent sense.

I have always felt that cover art, especially in the Horror genre is too misleading. I know it is a sales tactic like Wal-Mart putting Electronics in the back of the stores, so you have to go buy most everything else to get to it, that way you'll impulse buy more of the other stuff.

My Wife is a sucker for this stuff, I hear,"the picture on the box looked good" all the time.

I watch almost all the horror movies I can, so good or bad I view them as an expansion of my hobby. My wife however won't always sit there with me, but sometimes, "it's a good thing."

I don't know what the stupid f**k part has to do with anything, but a lot of the kills are very good, I especially liked the huge pot of boiling water on the molesting cook, "thats gotta hurt".

I love movies like this. Fondest movie of the original Bloody Murder is that one of the characters had on the same exact shirt I had on on the night my friends and I watched the film. That shirt infamously became known by my friends as my "Bloody Murder shirt"

o comeon these movies sucked i didnt like them at all. they were so lame. theres only a couple of films that capture the reality of a scary movie. One of them is dawn of the dead, the way that everyone doesnt give a danm about the other poeple in the movie. all they care about is themselves and stayin alive. thats it and you need good graphics but not to much graphics. and those movies just sucked. I mean the plot was stupid. it is a tipical wannabe horror movie. thats it.

(IMHO) Both DOTD's contained elements of people realizing they needed each other to some degree to stay alive. There biggest concern was not coming back as "one of them" if they were bitten.

As far as the BM movies, they are not great films, but they are good. They use actors on location or sets, and FX, not blue/green screens and a bunch of CG.

I don't want to try and say that CG is not a form of FX, it's a developing form like all FX getting better and more complex as time goes by. But a guy sitting at a computer in an office somewhere using software to create graphics is just not as effective for me.

DOTD remake is a good example of a film with a lot of FX, that is very effective, and uses some of the "less is more element", but it does contain a great deal of graphic, (gore) scenes. New does not always mean better.
