Well I did this for the first time today.
It was pretty fun never mind the fact that i fell over at least 10 million times. And i was cold. And it was windy.
But it was good. Although I am totally hopeless on a snowboard.
Anyways, if any of you have ever snowboarded, or do regularly just post about it on here..

Hello fellow boarder.

Nice to see someone else practicing such a great sport. Do some bordin where poss in Italy and France. Do most of my boarding at dry slopes in the midland in England (No snow :( ).

Like skate boardin as well but gettin a bit old for that. Also surf but pretty shit at that. So nice to see you enjoyed it. I think you feel really 'free' when your bombin down the slopes.

I can't snow/skateboard, or ski but I love to go sledding/tubing. That scene with Chevy Chase in Xmas vacation were he waxes up the saucer sled and goes like a bat out of hell is great.

Some friends when I was in High School were pulling an old car hood behind a truck. One of the girls was sitting on her knees at the back of the truck leaning her head over the tailgate watching. Everybody fell off, the hood went airborne and hit her in the face, took her nose clean off! They found it, took her to the ER and she had surgery, but it still looks a little screwed up.

Snowboardin is the shit. Better than skateboardin cos less pain.

Go to your local indoor place. Get a few lessons and before long, your fuckin doin jumps and switches galore.

Finally a thread that i'm passionate about.

I went once. I fell down for 3 hours straight (i dont think i stood upright for longer than 20 seconds at a time with that damn board on my feet), and had one HELL of a time doing it :D

I snowboard, but not regularly. Usually from late Nov. to mid March.

Its fucking PERFECT if you get some fresh powder that skiers havent put all their ridges in already....THATS what causes snowboarders to fall....catching those goddamn ridges all those skiers leave....

I ski as opposed to snowboarding. Not like once a season skiing like most families do but like the "extreme" skiing I guess you could call it. Theres usually some big rival between the two but I don't know what thats all about. I don't have any problems with snowboarders. I just like to ski cause I find it harder. My bother actually moved to WY just to ski. This mountian is really close to his house.

only been to the snow once and i was like 6. i made snowmen

i was never one for bikes, skateboards or sonwboards. i just dont feel comofrtable on them, feel confined. whereas with blades or skates its more like an extension of your feet. sKis dont count though, too long feet

anyway i do want to go up and play in the snow again but whenever it does theres so many damn people. got to go somewhere where nobody goes..... like in alaska or something.

I always thought skiing was much easier than snowboardin.

And I luurve the snow. Prob cos we never get any of it where i live.

Dont ever eat the yellow snow though. Hee hee.

Thinkin of Jackass where he makes a snow cone, pisses on it and then eats it. Funniest bit is at the end of the sketch where the guys blowin chunks and someone runs up to him and laces him square in the jewels. Pain while you puke.

Yeah mate. Love those guys.

The worst bit in that film is the paper cuts sketch. Sends shudders down my spine.
