I kinda thought there should be a thread about the King of Horror. The man left a legacy like nobody's business. So, what's your favorite Vincent Price movie? Mine is probably House of Wax or The Last Man on Earth.

I really like the "Last Man On Earth" as well. Although I haven't seen too many Price movies before. A little before my time.

my favorite vincent price movie of ALL TIME is the abominable dr. phibes. the sequel is good but... the original is so great.

i did get to see house of wax in a theater with 3-D glasses once.

house on haunted hill was probably one of the first horror movies i ever saw and i will always love that one too.

this (http://www.diymedia.net/audio/mp3/unknown-vpboys.mp3) is a funny vincent price audio collage. it refers to one of his other interests, gourmet cooking.

Pretty funny clip. I love Dr. Phibes as well, haven't got around to seeing the sequel yet.

Vincent Price is a must for the horror genre. Lots of horror movies wouldn't be the same without him. My favorite films with price are...

House On Haunted Hill. This movie is great. I jumped on the scene where the young girl turns around, bumping into that old, blind lady. Scared the crap out of me.

Now I'm not sure what the name was to this second film, but I believe it's either called The Bat or The Devil Bat. Either way, he was great in that movie. I like that movie a lot as well.

Price seemed to fit very well in Edgar Allen Poe stories:)

Vincent Price is the King of Horror. He is way before my time though, but being a horror movie fanatic I quickly took a liking to him though my browsing of classic horror. I liked his part in original The Fly, but also in Edward Scissorhands, mostly because of the character he portrayed.

On the edward scissorhands DVD, theres an unreleased Tim Burton stop-motion film called "Vincent", about a boy that wants to be vincent price. And Vincent Price narrorates(sp) it. Its pretty fucking cool. Really short, but i really like it. Edward Scissorhands was his last role before he died.

It was a very sad day in horror history when he died in 1996. I can get over all his accomplishments.. A true "father" of horror. His work will carry on through out generations....

YEa for some reason Im pretty good with that sorta stuff..dont know why.. My brother says I should be in college for writting(most likely Obituaries), instead of what Im here for...

In all honesty if you think about it Vincent Price could bring cold chills to your body by the simple play on his voice. At least he did for me:cool:

The Vincent short is now on The Nightmare Before Christmas DVD. You can also catch it on TV after Ed Wood, when it's a broadcast channel that has to pad the running time to 3hrs. Much like the TV scenes in Halloween.

House of Wax is my favorite Vincent movie. I also like his brooding, melancholy Gothic heroes in the Poe/Corman series (he always seems to have a living bride tucked into some burial vault).

I have wanted to see House of Wax, but haven't gotten the chance to. I did see The Conquer Worm, The Cry of the Banshee, and The Tingler.
