Not horror but I would say that WARNER BROS. back in the 40's I think, made some of the most FUCKED UP shows.
Sure we all know Bugs Bunny, The Road Runner and all of those characters.
But did you know these so called innocent cartoons are blamed for making kids violent?
Did you know that some of the catoons they made were banned because of their theme?(Mainly political.)

But who knows!
They are only cartoons, or maybe they are to blame for corrupting kids in america.

I used to watch them all of the time as a kid.
Maybe would explain my love for gore horror.
But what do I know?

I personally like to try hitting joggers with rockets. And it always backfires and i end up falling off a cliff with a very distant thud....

For awsm Formerly Banned Disney Cartoon fun, get their WWII era cartoon DVD. NRA-like obession with guns, racism against Japanese, disturbingly dark-mooded but REALLY well done cartoon about raising kids into nazis, Mexican profiling, encouraging people to polute, and the 3 food groups. Good time for all

seriously the cartoons from the 40's and 50's were seriously fucked up, my fav. one is a commercial from the Flintstones enjoying a smooth Winston cigarette

I've seen some pretty crazy early episodes of Felix...and that betty boop shit was pretty fucked up too, they were MODERATELY violent, but more insane than anything really.
