I have just tasted the first delectable piece of this season's Halloween candy. It was a Kit-Kat bar, with orange chocolate and brown wafers. I also purchased my daughter's costume for this year, and then had to come back home to get more money so I can stock up on decorations. My daughter wants to be a fuckin' Disney Princess. I tried to explain to her that Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary! But, she's just as stubborn as her old man.
Now, if only the leaves will start turning down here. Mississippi is so slow to start a new season.

After the Samhain ritual that I'm planning, I intend to sit down with my two cats (orange and black if you can believe that happy crappy) and watch:
The Shining (Kubric version)
The NOTLD series
The Exorcist (Director's cut or whatever they call the WHOLE version)
Hoodie Hoo!

This year I'm either going as Michael Myers or Ron Burgundy.
Past costumes have included Rambo, 8 foot tall space alien, Care Bear (Funshine), a disgruntled post office worker, and a hippy (The hippy costume sucked, but I had like 20 minutes to pick it out from an already picked over selection at a K-Mart on my way to a party.)
