what was the perpis of kiss? were they suposed to be scary? i like there music...but the make up?

Hell yeah it was a gimmick and of course it worked well. I have seen them in concert and they put on one badass show...

KISS fucking rules...I remember being 5 years old and listening to KISS Alive on a fisher price record player, I fucking dug them ever since..And of course the make up was a gimmick and it worked very well...I also have seen them in concert several times, with the make up and without.....
