Balcony Suicide Horror

A WOMAN has died after apparently jumping from a balcony in a hotel which was hosting a convention on suicide prevention.

The 62-year-old victim jumped from the fifth-floor balcony into the hotel courtyard in Virginia Beach, USA.

The incident was witnessed by a couple attending the conference who told investigators the fall appeared to be intentional.

Police spokeman Don Rimer said the victim was not part of the convention and added that she was taking medication after recently undergoing a serious medical procedure.

...well, if you're going to kill yourself, that's a good place to do it

She died from the 5th floor?!? I guess maybe if you're in your 60s, but damn... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't die from that. I've jumped from about 20 feet just for fun and landed on my feet.

If I jumped from a 5th floor, I think the worst that would happen would be a broken leg or two.

(But then again, maybe she didn't posess the skills of a ninja like me.)

No. I'm not really a ninja.

Maybe she was a ninja, but her medication screwed up her catlike reflexes.

Maybe she jumped so that she would land on her face

If that's what she did, then she is definately not a ninja.

HB- What do you mean you watched it all go down? You saw her jump?
