Egekrusher's thread of first horror movies made me think of how much that tremors scared the shit out of me as a kid. I remember I was like six or seven when i saw it. and the scene where the station wagon was sucked undergroud scared me half to fucking death, and that night I peed the bed cause i was too scared to get up and walk to the bathroom cause i thought i was going to be eaten by a tremor. lol, its funny now that i think of it, but back then it was so real and terrifying. anybody got a childhood spook story?

i thought vampires lived under my bed. i thought Dracula was out to get me, why, i don't know. Anyways, i figured that if a vampire was out to get me, he would start to eat me beinning with my toes. So, i covered my toes and the rest of my body just in case. i also don't like to have my limbs hanging from the bed because the easier for them to get you. yup. i think that's it.

i used to have dreams about freddy chasing me on a bicycle trying to squirt me with a spray bottle full of some kind of poison. and earlier than that i used to have dreams about gargamel throwing my entire family into a pit and tossing in lettuce and carrots to make a stew out of them.

Child's Play is the only movie I remember watching as a young child, and it probably gave me nightmares...haha. I can't remember. I know Chucky scared me pretty bad though. :p

Why?...Are you a Smurf? :p

Anyway...The only horror movie that I dreamed about was Nightmare On Elm Street...But, I kicked Freddy's ass...So...I guess it wasn't really a 'nightmare':)

What Lies Beneath scared me away from lakes for quite awhile. Dont know why, because the lake wasnt even the scary part of the movie....

The first horror movie I watched while alone in the house was Pet Sematary (I was like 10...I had read the book and I knew I hated horror movies but I rented it anyway) Anyway, It was summer and I was alone in the house and after I watched it, the whole house was just so silent and creepy *shiver* I had nightmares about that one.

I've never had alot of nightmares. In fact I can't remember most of my dreams.

But my sister was scarred for life by the clown scene in poltergeist. She doesn't like porcelain clowns to this day and she's 26! :)
