Just came back from the Horrorfind Weekend. I enjoyed it as always except the fact of haveing to pay stars about 10 dollars just for them to sign your DVD's or what have you. I'll post pics of the convention. Lemmie know your thoughts.

First is Jeffrey Combs head shot that I got. This one is him in Frighteners, groovy movie if I say so.

But forget about the cost of the autographs because I made out of there with enough "booty" from lions gate films to hold myself over. "Saw" stickers, posters, and little DVD. Also enough "Devil's Rejects posters to plaster a skyscraper. Thats what all of you missed.

I live in Kentucky but drove the nine hours to get there last year. It was a blast too.

Why is Jeffrey Combs wearing a swashbuckler-looking shirt?

So, War, did anyone not live up to your expectations or was anyone an asshole?

Uhhh let's see. Irwin and Gary Klar were actually overly nice. Bill Mosley like the first thing he said when I asked for him to sign the DVD sleeve he was like "you know that costs 10$" that was before I knew all those people were doing that. I don't think it was they way he said it more as it was hitting me that damn I have to pay 10$ to have him sign this, thats fucked up. But I only had 5$ on me cause i didn't think it cost to sign it. But he did it for 5$ but I actually went back and gave him another 5 later after I hit ATM. If any of that makes sense, probably seems more like me rambleing on. But otherwerds they were all pretty nice folks.

I would never pay someone to sign something....based on principal...to me, no one is that important....well no one is that much MORE important than everyone else, put it that way....

What i was thinking....if you have to charge your fans MONEY to give them autographs when the only reason you are famous in the first place is your fans, thats pretty bullshit to me...

Im weird on stuff like this. I dont think they should charge but i also dont think they should have to sign. The way i see it is they dont owe us we owe them and show that by purchasing their stuff. If there were no famous people life would be pretty boring so we show our appreciation by purchasing their stuff and they show theres by entertaining us

You really think life would be BORING if we didn't have celebrities? wow....

let me guess.. you subscribe to people? Entertainment weekly maybe?

how about this.. take those signed movies and sell them on ebay. odds are you'll make a lot more than the $10.. then u can rub it in the bastards face

its one thing if the celebrity were out on a morning jog and u ran up saying 'OH PLEASE SIGN MY DVD.' this was a convention... specifically.. horror actors at a HORROR convention... what are they to expect? isnt that the whole reason why they are there? you dont keep fans by being rude to them.
