Well friends, all of our religious debates can cease. There is now undeniable proof that there IS a God!
The greatest zombie director of all time, George Romero, is set to begin filming the 4th installment of his Dead series! Filming begins this fall and we can expect a late 2005/ early 2006 release! It's called Land of the Dead and it takes place after Day of the Dead. I read the synopsis and it sounds like it should be pretty sweet! Here's a link to more info...

Remember folks, you heard it here first!

Okay, so I guess it doesn't prove the existance of God, but my prayers have been answered nonetheless.

were you dead when you watched the other ones?
one thing i dont get about that movie, is that to build a wall around a city would have taken months, it would have then taken a year or two for anarchy to set in. wouldn't the zombies be reduced to nothing but skin and bones by then?

Man, the things Romero could do with the technology available today...(let's hope he stays oldskool & doesn't decide to assfuck the zombies with the CG stick)...I'm SO gonna see this....
So that "other" thing I've heard of, that dotd: contagion...what the fuck is that then, and is it meant to in itself be a spinoff of the original series too?
It would of course be interesting to see the two films go head-to-head, even if it IS this obvious to see which one'd win...

The only news that I didn't like hearing was that Tom Savini is not doing the special effects. I guess one of his assistants that worked on Day of the Dead with him is signed up however, good news considering to this day I don't think I've saw a movie with better gore effects than "Day".
