i know some people who like live on it
in 8th grade this girl that no one liked but sat with us... put like 3 packets of mayonnase on her burger. nasty
ill put a very thin film of it on my bread just to moisten it but usually ill just use ketchup. in dressings it ok or in potato salad... but even then some people ONLY put mayo in their potato salad.. no herbs or anything. losers

My dad likes that too, shanks. As a matter of fact, he picked it up from his english friends when we lived in germany.
That's how you guys plan on reclaiming the colonies.... through potatoes and whipped egg products... you sneaky bastards....:)
I hated mayo until i was 16, on vacation in paris, and we went to "au bon pain" of all places on the Champes Elises (Sp?). i had a ham and cheses sandwich on french bread with mayo and loved it. have been hooked ever since.
BTW, I happen to like hellmans..... We dont have "Duke" in New Hampshire, so i have yet to experience it's greatness.
And Miracle whip is fucking nasty.

i hate mayo:mad: *barf*
I agree Vod. Ham & cheese with mayo is quite good. Or perhaps some nice turkey with mayo on rye. And lets not forget.....you can't make chicken salad without mayo.:)

Or tuna :)
you are giving me thanksgiving leftover flashbacks. One of my favorites:
Turkey and mayo with salt and pepper, maybe some stuffing. if i am feeling really brave, some cranberry sauce.

it is an English thing... mayo and chips, another one i like, whenever I leave the boozer at night, we'll go down to the local chippy and get a load of chips and cover them in burger sauce.....mmmmmm delicious :)
Hellmans is the best stuff i've had in the Uk, get lots of french varieties, but dont really like them as much as hells

I 'm not sure why this reminded me, but have you ever seen "A Fish Called Wanda"? It just reminded me of Kevin Kline's line:
"Ahh, the English contribution to world quisine... The chip."

Sorry, i'm getting nostalgic.

Yes you do :)
The resteraunts on the NATO base we were stationed at were all either German or British. It took a while to get used to saying things like "chips" and "biscuits" when we call them "fries" and "cookies", but once you learn the lingo, you are on easy street.
They also did fires with gravy, due to the large canandian population on the base. It was a fried-food heaven :)

Same here. :)
We are Boston bound. i would suggest Paris to her if we had the money, believe me. As it is, we now have a 1 hour drive to hour honeymoon (okay, limo ride ;)), and no jet lag :)
