View Full Version : Scariest Situation You Have Been In

Okay, I'm going to open up a little bit and talk about a situation I was in that comes back into memory every now and then.
I was four years old, and my family and I had just moved to Canada. While we were waiting to close on a new house, we lived in a duplex.
One afternoon, in winter, I walked into the backyard to play on the swingset we had. Our neighbor saw me and opened his door, and called for me to go to him. Since I was four, I really didn't know any better, so I went.
When I got inside, he locked the door behind him and walked in front of me and said: "Listen ... we're friends right?"
"Yeah," I replied, even though I had never talked to this guy before.
"I want you to do something for me," he said. Then, he pulled his pants down and held up his pecker. He was shivering badly (probably out of nervousness, I have decided in retrospect). Then he said: "I want you to suck this."
The only thing that was going through my mind was that the idea of doing such a thing was nasty. I didn't want to get pee in my mouth. So I told him I wouldn't do it, and that I just wanted to go.
He said: "Come on! We're friends! You can go as soon as you do this thing for me. Okay?"
I still refused, and told him again that I wanted to go. I turned to the door and tried to open it, but, it was locked.
Thankfully, after I started wailing because he wouldn't let me go, he finally unlocked the door and let me out without my having to give him the requested service.
Before I went, though, he told me to promise that I wouldn't say anything, and that what happened should remain just between he and I, seeing as we were such good friends. I agreed to this, and left.
I told my mother later that day while we were driving what had transpired. She refused to believe me though (I don't know how a 4 year old could make something like that up), and nothing ever happened to the neighbor for what he did to me.
I have since tried to locate this guy, but there are no records existing as to who was renting out that duplex 26 years ago. It really irritates me that my mother didn't believe me, because she could have done something about that freak right then and there ... and instead, he probably went on to hurt other children.
But most of all, I'm lucky to have gotten out of that situation alive. Seriously.

I can relate to that stingy....I was molested when i was about 5-6 but it was in my own garage, by a friend that lived on my street and that was normally a really cool guy....
Lets just say i didn't quite escape like you did....
Its really hazy for me, maybe because im subconsciously trying to bury it, but i cant remember if i told my parents and they didn't believe me, or if i never told them at all....
I kinda remember one of them walking in on it, but i cant remember anything after that, so maybe i just wished they would walk in and stop it, and thats what i remember....
Anyway, i dont have the guts to ask them now about it, like 15 years later, as if i never told them i dont want them to know now, its just wierd.....it something i would never wish on anyone else ever, no matter how much i hated them....
Anyway, i understand your situation Stingy....unfortunately...

i unfortunately can also relate to the both of you. i was 4 when i was molested by my cousin, 6 by the husband of my aunt ( who she divorced later thankfully ) and 7 when a friend of the family tried to molest me and my grandfather almost blew his brains out. i come from a country where men don't seem to tell the difference between a little girl and a woman. i never had the guts to talk to anyone from my family about it.
seems like we've all got a story to tell here... once again, unfortunately...

Damn. I suppose nothing ever happened to the guy? Wow. I don't know what I would have done had I not made it out of there. I had no defenses, and was locked in a stranger's house. I could have easily "disappeared", and no one would know what had happened (of course, my footprints in the snow would have been pretty telling.)

Jesus stingy, that is really messed up.... I have bumped into too many weirdos online (especially trying to get movies and music off of winmx...) to NOT believe a kid that tells a story like that.
I dont think i have ever experienced anything quite that bad.
A freind and i were walking around late at night one time when i lived in germany. We ended up on a second-level parking lot (the same one from the windsheild story) when this car comes SCREECHING up the ramp to it. We were going to be up to no good, so we bolted and jumped over this concrete ledge, hoping to hell there was something there. there was, but not much. Anyway, neither of us fell. The car slows down in the parking lot and a guy gets tossed out.
He starts to move away so they dont hit him with the car, then turns around and starts swearing at them as they drive away. They stop, turn around, and start after him. Somebody rolled down a window and the guy ran like ive never seen. We assumed they were either going to run him over or shoot him. We decided to find a sneaky way out, because if they did anythingto him, we assumed that witnesses would not be appreciated.
He got away, and thankfully the people that tossed him left. we sat there, crouched behind the concrete for about 10 minutes afterwards to make sure noone came back.

thanks arioch. sorry to hear about the both of you too. no matter who it is, it's never an easy situation.
i can't even count the number of times my cousin has tried to make up for the "incident", so it probably is weighing on his conscience, IF he has one.

this reminds me, my roommate and i used to play games wioth perverts on winmx. we would come up with goofy names like "garglesex" and "fat hairy grandma masturbates with coffee mug". You would be amazed at the number of people that would download them. usually it would be a picture of nothing, or something like the forum pics with the old guy flipping the bird and saying "fuck off!"
I started taking pictures from scary movies (samara's face, the death face from the exorcist) and give them child porn names. i figured, if the asshole downloading it was excited, he would lose his mood as soon as he opened the pic.
I was really hoping they would flood the internet and screw up their fun. i have a real bone to pic with those people. I have downloaded some perfectly "innocent" pictures that have turned out to be some sick shit. It bugs me that there are kids out there looking for "Pokemon" or "quake 3" pictures and getting kiddie porn....
I know this is a little off subject, but seeing that shit as an adult has been pretty hard to handle. i have a6 year old and 11 month old nieces, and i would fucking KILL anyone who did that to them. I mean seriously... when i fight angry, i'm like a rabid silverback, i just pound until it stops moving...

I've got one.
6th grade. Gym class, which is mandatory in the state of Michigan. Locker room. We weren't forced to take showers (Michigan declared it illegal a while back to force students to get naked with each other, about fucking time). I was going to the bathroom in one of those stand up mens stalls when this kid named Sean Priebe came up to me and said "Shit, I've gotta hold mine with both hands cuz it's so big". I made the mistake of laughing. He decided it was a good idea to bounce my head off of the bathroom stall in an effort to knock me out. He partially succeeded, I was wavering in and out of consciousness. I was laying on the floor, and the next thing I know he has his dick in my face, yelling "Suck it!! Suck it!!". Mind you, there were about 20 other boys in the locker room with us, all of them cheering him on. I was considered gay and a freak by them because I didn't care about being popular, the only thing I cared about really was learning, much as I do now (though this changed for a LONG time).
Luckily, the gym teacher walked in the door and all of his buddies warned him, so he pulled his pants back up and pulled me up off of the floor. I was pretty small back then, so he had no problem doing this. I never said a thing to the teacher.
End of story.

Well, I never got molested or anything, but I did have a gun pulled on me by a... (Searches for politically correct way to say this.)... considerably less than happy African American.
Here's the situation...
I was 19 and on my way to my buddy's house on the Eastside of St. Paul. (The eastside is a ghetto, for those that don't know.) So I'm walking up the steps to my friends and this one homeboy comes across the street and starts asking me if I'm looking for weed. Coincidently, I was. He said he could get some, right across the street, so I followed him to this apartment complex. We went up three floors and he knocked on a door.
When the door opened, I see this MASSIVE brotha. Seriously, this guy was HUGE! Bigger than most pro football players. Anyways, I see this big dude along with a cracked out, passed out white girl laying on the couch. The next thing I noticed was a silver handgun laying on his coffee table. He let us in and shut the door. For that split second that we were in the doorway, he seemed nice enough...
Once the door shut, his vibe changed drastically. For a reason unbeknownest to me, this big dude was furious at the little dude that I showed up with. (Keep in mind, I had never met this guy before he approached me while I was walking up the steps to my buddies house.) The big dude was screaming at the little dude in an extremely threatening manner. (The thought crossed my mind to make a break for the door, but fear and the desire for weed kept me there.)
Then the big dude decided to focus his attention on me. He yelled at me and asked how much money I had on me. I told him I had $50 bucks, I just wanted a bag, and I didn't even know this other fool. He then went over to his coffee table, grabbed his gun and pointed it at me, instructing me to open my wallet. I did. He reached in and took my $50 out and then said "This n*gger owes me $600 and I've killed motherfuckers for less than that!"
At this point, I wasn't sure if I was being robbed or buying a bag, so I remained quiet. He proceeded to yell at/threaten the dude I was with a little bit more, making sure that he knew he wasn't fuckin' around about wanting his money. Then he opened the door and told us to get the fuck out.
I never did get my bag.

That sucks! I would have peed. Seriously. I think I've said before that if I was ever a victim on "Scare Tactics", I would be hilarious to watch.
That reminds of the time I was robbed at gunpoint. Actually, I wasn't personally robbed. My coworker was. I was in the back office with a friend, chatting. We had to chat back there, because that was only place we were allowed to smoke. Anyway, we're smoking and chatting and I hear someone say: "I'm not fuckin' kidding" over the security system. I glance over my shoulder at the security monitor to see a guy in a ski mask pointing a handgun at my co-worker, and my co-worker emptying out my cash drawer.
I turned to my friend and said: "Holy shit, we're getting robbed."
"What?"
"We're getting robbed!" My friend then glanced at the monitor himself, and a look of pure fear came over his face. He lowered his head so that it couldn't be seen through the glass separating the office from the front counter.
I whispered to my friend to shut the door, in case the robber decided to take my coworker back to the back and put a bullet in him. If he did that, he would see us as well if we left the door open. But, my friend refused to move, and I couldn't get to the door because he was blocking my way.
I reached for the phone to dial 911, but my friend stopped me, reasoning that if we make a sound or move at all, it will alert the robber to our presence. So, as soon as the thief left, I made the call.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt. But, after the incident, the other employees who were not working that night began to give me shit about not doing anything to stop the robber. These few days (following the robbery) were bullshit. I tried to tell them time and again that popping out of the back office to confront a guy who is already scared and armed, would have been far from wise. Besides, what did they want me to do? Throw a pencil at him?
I don't know anybody who would have tried to stop the guy if they were actually in my situation. Anybody. And if anybody says they would, they would be pretty stupid. They would have just ended up getting themselves shot.

Odds are, unless of course that there were severla OTHER children (hopefully, of older age) that were to come forth at the time, even if your mother were to come forth, nothing wouldve happened. living under 'innocent until proven guilty' like anything else, has its pluses and minuses. in this case ud need corrobartion, especialyl since u were only 4.
most likely though there were and over the years HAVE been several others and hopefully some have spoken up about it. once uve registered 290 ur in it for life.
its too bad u dont know a name or anything, but since it has been 26 years hes got to be... 50 or so? most are through at around that age. it is too bad though u dont nokw the name because you could have even checked to see if hes even registered.. you know, piece of mind type stuff.

I had a friend who looked much like the way you describe yourself. He was a big guy, hardly ever smiled, and had long hair and a beard. We called him Grizzly Adams for fun. Here's a funny story about this guy:
Grizzly Adams (his real name is Paul) and I were dining on some Chinese one afternoon. He had just finished working the night shift at the factory at which he was employed, so he was in a particularly grumpy mood.
I finished with my meal, and was watching him consume his with little amusement. He wasn't talking very much, just repetitively lifting the fork to his beard-hidden mouth. I grabbed one of the spoons and placed one of those tiny corn-cobs on the handle, and turned the spoon on the table so that the bowl of the spoon was facing Paul. I played as if I was going to slam my fist down onto the bowl, thus hurtling the corn-cob into Paul's hairy face. But I didn't really do it.
Paul raised an eyebrow at my pantomime, then insisted that I actually do it. I laughed, but declined. I didn't want to start flinging food about the restaurant.
Finally, Paul decided to do it himself. He brought down a ham hock sized fist onto the bowl of the spoon, sending the corn-cob up into the air. Unfortunately, the spoon twirled off the table also and smacked him right in the face. He grunted, and raised a hand to the point of impact, at which point the corn-cob dropped from the sky and bounced off the top of his head. He placed his other hand on his head and grunted again.
Suffice it to say, I had a real good laugh at Paul's expense.

I have a friend like that too. The word I would use to describe him best would be 'goon'. (This happens to be the same buddy whose house I was walking up to in my first anecdote.)
Here's a story about the 'goon' (Tom). Back in high school, we were sitting at the table during lunchtime. I noticed Tom (He's a pothead.) staring off in the distance while holding his carton of milk in his hand.. I said 'Hey Tom, you know what time it is?' Without thinking or even really looking, he turns his wrist to check his watch and ended up dumping his whole carton of milk out on his lap. This was pretty fucking amusing to us, but it gets better...
After lunch, Tom and I were in the same class, and by pure coincidence, we were supposed to be giving speeches that day. Well, the teacher asked who would like to go first, and I, knowing my buddy has a soggy milk crotch going on, said 'Tom does!' The teacher looked at me, then to Tom, unsure of why I would be volunteering him. Tom was like 'No, I don't want to go first.'
At this point the teacher suspected something was up and asked him if he had completed his assignment. He said he had. She then asked why he didn't want to go. Tom didn't really answer, just kinda kept blowing off the question and saying he didn't want to go. Eventually, the teacher made him go first. He went up to the front of the classroom and delivered his speech as if nothing was wrong, but myself and the rest of the class were laughing uncontrollably at the huge wet stain on the front of his pants. The teacher realized why he didn't want to give his speech, but it was too late.
We all had a good laugh, except for Tom who, to this day, still does not see the humor in it. He was pissed at me for about a week, but he got over it. We're still very good friends (In fact, he'll be a groomsmen in my wedding in 2006.)

My old neighboor (we have moved since this) who is 4 years older than me tried to molest me when I was 5 or 6. Its very very foggy in my mind. Basically we were playing hide and go seek with another neighboor, and we were hiding together under my deck. I dont really feel like going into detail, mostly because I dont remember it all that well. It was definetly sexually inappropriate, I'll just leave it at that. I didnt actually touch anything, at least not that I can remember. I have never told anyone and I dont plan to. I was so young and he made it feel like it was no big deal at the time, so it doesnt even seem that big now. It's just weird to think back to someone that I knew so well doing that to me.
thats the first time I have ever told that story. nice to get it off my back.

Yeah, if I remember right, I wasn't exactly scared at the time my first story happened. I was 1) grossed out by the thought of getting pee pee in my mouth, and 2) pissed off that he wouldn't let me leave. It wasn't until several years later that I realized exactly what sort of a situation I was in, and how scary it really was.

I remember that I wasnt really scared, it was just really weird. Im sure if it happened now I would be alot more scared and react more violently.
Scariest situation for me happened about 14 yrs ago. My friend,my wife and I were enjoying a cocktail [ beer ] on the back porch. It was about 11 in the evening when my wife walked into the kitchen to see my son wandering around in a sleep-like state. His face covered in black. Then the electricity went out and to our horror we realised the upstairs was on fire.My daughter was still up there. I raced up the stairs to her bedroom, by now the whole upstairs was filling with smoke, she wasn't in her room, I heard her calling from my bedroom but by now I couldn't see a thing and it was getting very hard to breath. I ran into my room feeling around frantically and finally grab her arm. I scooped her up and made my way downstairs as fast as I could. Everybody made it out ok and thankfully the fire station is only two blocks from my house so the damage was contained to just the second floor.

I was sitting in an inner tube with my three year old sister and we were floating down a small river stream. We had been going over rapids, which weren't really rapids but was water that had the tiniest waves you can imagine. Well, we were nearing this set of rapids and I noticed that they were really steep and fast. I was tried to swim out and away from teh rapids but it didn't work to well. So I held my sister tight as we went over the water. We were bounced every which way, and we were almost through it when the tube flipped, causing me to smash my head on a rock under the water. I struggled to keep my sister afloat as the current continued to push me against the rocks and down the rapids. The water right after the rapids was really deep and I couldn't get my footing. All I knew was that I needed to get up with my sister. Finally the water calmed and I held her above the water with me as we swam to the shore. In the end, I came away with several cuts across my legs, a missing toe nail and my legs were purple because the water was so cooled. My sister, however, was perfectly fine. She enjoyed every minute of it and asked to go again!!!
