I'm looking forward to Apocalypse, I enjoyed the hell out of RE, it wasn't groundbreaking or anything... but it was fun.

Though, I do wish they hadn't killed off Rain Ocampo(Michelle Rodriguez), I liked her character a hell of a lot better than Milla Jovovich's character... :/

Did anyone read George A. Romero's original script for RE? Its a lot more like the game then the Paul Anderson version ended up being. It's pretty good, I don't know why they didn't film that one.The Hunters, The Tyrant, the giant plant and snake and everything is in there.

Of course I'll go see this movie but I'm pretty skeptical on it. The zombies in the first one didn't really impress me and the movie was all action with no substance.

- It's not like thse first one was directly based on the first game, or for that matter ANY r.e game anyway...I'm assuming there'll more than likely be ELEMENTS from the second game, I mean, look at the scene at the very end of RE1...

I had no big beef with the first one like alotta ppl seemed to.
It wasn't REALLY scary, the plot wasn't great (but by far not the worst I've seen in the genre), and the acting DID leave a lot to be desired...I DID, however quite like the zombies, and personally thought it was a good idea not to just make it "Resident evil The game: The movie" I mean seriously, imagine a whole movie full of RE game style dialogue?
I find that I have been able to enjoy this kind of film a little more since I've realised how to get the most out of any given movie.
It's all just about expectations.
I went in with the expectation of seeing some scantilly clad Milla, and seeing some zombies get shot up.

Just do a search on the words "Resident Evil George Romero script". That's how I found it. I couldn't find a downloadable version, so I had to print it out. It's worth reading. It's too bad they didn't make this one.
