Hey everyone,
All movies, all genres- which character can you relate to the most?
I find myself identifying with... no one. I find myself in a very unique situation. I was once a nerd, who turned into a grunger/metalhead/full on druggie, and finally settling on an amalgam of metalhead/nerd. I have went through many experiences, and have fought depression most of my life.
Actually, if you can think of any movie characters remotely like this let me know.
How about you guys/gals/hermaphrodites?

Dee Snider from Strangeland

I've identified with different characters for different reasons during different stages in my life. At this point, I am torn between Jack Lemmon's character in 12 Angry Men, and Mr. William Keating (Robin Williams) of Dead Poets Society.

Leatherface and a little bit of Mason Verger. Cant figure out if i want to eat people or touch kids.
Not really, nothing like that at all. That wasnt even freudian.
Hmmm... A freind of mine used to call me "Malcom" because i was a smart-assed scientist type guy, and i did a stunnign Jeff Goldblum. That I am serious about.
Oddly enough, i do findmyself in the metalhead/nerd field quite a bit myself...

mmmm........
Well one is Ellen Burstyn in Resurrection. I am exactly like her!
In how I think anyway! Not looks though....we look just a teeny bit different!
Otherwise.......................
I relate to the brainy, logical female characters that usually can majorly kick butt! LOL! I'd be the Bride, if you could consider Kill Bill horror! :D ;)
Freddy Krueger.

A combination between Freddy Krueger and Hannibal Lecter.

It says:
"You're just like Dr. Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs. You're intelligent, cultured, and have a penchant for classical music, red wine and delicious human flesh. You're also very charismatic, which makes you a hit with the ladies who you'll later date, screw, then cook."
:D
I am pleased.

I had a student last year named Jed Anderson. Every time I called on him, I would do the "Mr. Anderson" Agent Smith voice.

I guess if I had to choose any character to relate to, it would be the one (can't remember his name) Ed Norton portrayed in Fight Club. A nice guy that gets walked on every day, and the nicer he is, the worse off things get. Sick of society, sick of people placing such importance on possessions, etc.

Sounds more like Micheal Douglas's character in Falling Down. Have you ever seen that? If not, you should. I bet you would like it.

George from seinfeld? eek....
I saw an interview one time with Jason Alexander, and he said a guy came up to him one time, all proud and said that his freinds told him allthe time that he was just like george castanza.
He told the guy "these people ARENT your freinds then. George is a horrible person....."

I wouldn't call Costanza a horrible person. Neurotic yes, but horrible?
Anyways, I've been told that I am a lot like Chandler Bing on the show FRIENDS. Observational humor, quick wit, highly cynical, but overall a generally nice guy.
(Interesting side note: My fiance is very much like Monica. Clean and tidy (almost to an OCD extent), organized, demanding and sometimes downright bitchy, but still a sweetheart underneath.)
