Jay doesn't look grumpy in that pic to me. He's got his knees pulled up to his chest ... it's almost as if he looks like he got in trouble, and is being forced to sit against the wall.
Teacher: "Jay!!!! That's the third time you've used all the clay to sculpt your 'Beast Raping Virgin' statue!!!!!"
Jay: "But ... but ..."
Teacher: "No buts! This assignment was to create something that reminds you of your favorite place!"
Jay: "But ... this does remind me of my favorite place!!"
Teacher: "Get against the wall. And put your knees up. I'm tired of you tripping everyone who walks by while you're being punished."
Jay: (under his breath) "Dammit."

You almost sound like u r a teacher
also by the way, I was being bugged to pose for a pic, i don't really care to be captured on film so i finally gave in and gave them an emo pose. Me and my group of friends sit in the art room at lunch and this is what we do. We also get into deep conversations about religion, we r all diff, one is christian a couple of athiests, i'm wiccan, and another is catholic, so it makes for good conversation especially since they are all so considerate of eachothers belifes. We listen to music play hacky sack....
To quote my friend ross "we are the typical back of the art room kids."
Man just thinkin about those 30 min. of lunch time in the art room gets me missin school kinda, and i only have one more year of high school left, which makes me nervous, cause im afraid of the real world, and haven't got the greatest grades....
Geeze, I am starting to sound likesomething i would write in my private journals...
...how i long to go back to the good ol days of not worrying about the future, but if i had the choice to better prepare my self i wouldn't do it cause i would not be who i am now...

And don't worry too much about the real world. Just go to college. Not only will it give you the education you need to support yourself, but it is a great weaning process. A good transition from school to "the real world." You'll have plenty of chances to screw up in college, but it won't hurt you as bad as if you went straight to work from high school. Then, when you've graduated, you'll be pretty prepared to move on.
