My whole day is ruined, i was all excited about eating a big o' bowl of Lucky Charmes and i pour them in the bowl, put the milk in, take the first bite and the cereal isn't crunchy it is soft and the marshmellows smoosh... what happend to the good ole days when the cereal was nice and crisp, and the marshmellows were crunchy? I am dissapointed and it is only 8 oclock in the morning...

lololo :D did you remember to roll down the foil bag, and push the tab in the box after the last time you had some? If they were new.....go and gather your mates and protest with big banners outside the supermarket where you got them!!

Sounds to me like you have been a victim of the classic "Cereal Bag Air Leak". Your cereal does that when it is exposed to too much air for a certain amount of time. There are ways you can battle this, however, so don't despair! I usually opt for the simple "roll up the bag" method. It is easy and effective. When you pour yourself a bowl, simply roll the opened part of the bag over itself several times until it is tight against the remaining cereal. If you think this is a hassle (which it can be ... after a while the crumpled bag hinders proper cereal pourage), simply purchase a $3.00 plastic container specially designed for cereal. Pour the cereal in this container and toss the box. The container will keep your cereal fresh until the last bite.

Or stick 1 slice of bread in the package, roll top shut and wait for about an hour. The bread will absorb the moisture and your cereal will be good as new.

ahhhhhhhhh the joys of being stuck in a po dunk roadside hotel that only gets one channel and on that particular day it was a Did You Know program.

You can roll up the bag.........OR you can send Kelloggs or whoever makes the cereal a letter saying that you were very dissapointed and you want a full refund. Then they will give you a whole bunch of free shit.

works for those "chewy" Oreos too
can also use crackers. just have to make sure if you are using crackers in the cereal to not make your breakfast in the dark.

Actually, I don't have a problem with chewy Oreos. I almost like them better that way.

I dont bother with all that marshmellow nonsence. I'll have a big bowl of Allbran followed by a fry-up than a mug of coffee......

fart power for the rest of the day

There's no cereal that flushes you out better than Cracklin' Oat Bran. That stuff is like Dran-O for your colon.

My favorite cereals: Life, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Cocoa Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles, Raisin Bran Crunch. I don't bother with anything else.

I'm assuming a fry-up is a fried egg. I'm working on my UK slang.

I dont eat breakfast. I hate cereal. For me, it is a large Dunkin Donuts, or Aroma Joe's dark Roast. On weekends, If i get off my ass early enough, i will cook up some spectacular breakfasts, but that is rare, because i am lazy.

My ideal breakfast.
2 eggs over easy
homefries
2 slices of fried spam
2 slices of rye toast, lightly buttered

Maybe its....octopus. Looking at that breakfast clarifies another misconception I had. I thought a typical UK breakfast would be biscuits and tea.

Well, as far as differences between the US and the UK goes with that plate of food ... I don't think any of us would order a side of mushrooms. We put them on our pizza, and in soups and stuff ... but not straight out of a pile like that. Also, we don't grill our tomoatoes. And that piece of meat on the side looks a little undercooked ... unless it's ham. In that case - yum!

God damn don't leave me out of a breakfast conversation....

Give me two eggs sunny side up
Two orders of hashbrowns with cheese and ham
two waffles with Karo syrup
and a motherfucking pound of bacon cooked crispy, I fucking hate chewy bacon, most restraunts can never cook bacon right...
And about a gallon of coffee and I'm good for the morning....

Of course anyone within a five mile radius will suffer the after effects though :D

I love my cereals to...

And Stingy, Cracklin Oat Bran is fucking awesome, I love that stuff....

Other kick ass cereals
Honey Nut Clusters
Frosted Shredded Wheat
Boo Berry
FrankenBerry
Cookie Crisp
Peanut Butter Crunch
Crunch Berries
Cocoa Puffs
Cocoa Pebbles
Fruity Pebbles
Frosted Flakes
Honeycomb
Corn Pops
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Sugar Smacks
Fruit Loops
Honey Nut Cheerios
Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs
Trix

Yeah I'm a muthafucking cereal connoisseur :p
