Well? Answer the question. NOW!!! :)
For me, it's insanity. I'm afraid of losing my mind. I've been very close before. I've been in the hospital twice for severe depression, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and attempted suicide (note to self: next time you hang yourself, don't do it in a shoddy closet).

Bees. I have a serious case of apiphobia. Those are about the only things that make me so scared I sweat.

So glad you didn't succeed ege. You seem like a nice guy.
I have four kids and three are over 19, so what really scares me is when the phone rings after midnight and they are not home.

Jesus... like right now.
A wave of blackness and despair overwhelms me. I can't think straight, I'm moody as all hell, I anger very easily, I just feel out of control. I really fear that I'm losing it sometimes. I hear things at night, I see things out of the corner of my eye that aren't there, and I'm SO scared of the dark that it's almost absurd. I run from my car to my house at night, I don't walk. When I get inside, I turn on all the lights upstairs (I don't go into the basement at night...) and go directly to my room. I close the windowblinds, and lock my door. I put headphones on so I can't hear any noises the house may be making.
I don't know how long this can continue before I actually start seeing things.
Freddy Krueger.

Not all spiders scare me, but certain ones, like the Brown Recluse, scare the living shit out of me. I have this fear that one will be crawling on my face, and when i panci and swat it away, it bites me, and then i get rotting necrosis on my face and end up horribly disfigured.... Wandering spiders scare me too.
I also have a horrible fear of extreme heights. the weird thing is this; i am afraid to be say, 60 feet above the ground in a building, but being in an airplane is exhilerating. if i am flying, no biggie, if i am on a structure of some sort 9or see it on tv), i damn near shit myself. There was a thing on Discovery last night (Etreme Engineering) about a building being erected in Europe called the Twisting Torso. its a big apartment complex shapped like a twizzler. Anyway, they were showing one of the tall-crane operators, and his crane was 500 feet in the air! He took an elevator to almost the top, but had to climb, outside, unprotected, up a ladder the last 20 feet (i'm sweating just writing this), and one of the days they showed, they shut down operations because the wind was going over 45 mph.... and he had to climb 20 feet of ladder, 500 feet off the ground... i kept saying "fuck that!' and got all tense and sweaty....

Brown Recluse spiders are some of the only deadly spiders here in Michigan. They are VERY quick and VERY poisonous. You have every right to be afraid of them ( I know I am).

Not in my bedroom. I'm anal about that stuff. I clean out all the corners in my room every couple of days, whether it needs it or not. I don't have anything sitting on my floor except for furniture (that all gets cleaned as well). I vacuum a lot. I have never once seen a bug in there.
Did I mention I have OCD?

I'm sure it happens, but not as often as in most peoples houses. Believe me, if you walked in my house, you'd be afraid to touch anything. It looks more like a museum than a house.

That is an urban legend, completely untrue. Maybe happens once a year worldwide.

I saw a medical show last week where u guy had been bitten by one. He lived in Illonois, and apprently they are exceedingly rare in that state. Well, after he recovered (a big chunk of his thigh had to be drained and removed...uck) He and his girl put sticky traps all over the apartment to catch any others that might be around. They moved out almost immediately because every night, they were catching 3 or 4 of them. The building was INFESTED with them. They said it was lieka horror movie, knowing what they could do, it was terrifying to find som many every day. of course, they didnt say shit about whether or not anything was done about the infestation, or if someone else moved into it unknowingly...
Dont move into any apartment complexes in Illinois for a while....

Very justifiable fear. It's something that weighs on all of us, every single day. It takes it's toll over time, and can easily fill you up with that same hatred and prejudice if you're not careful. The horrible part is that most people don't seem to care. They live by the philosophy "Do unto others as they have, or you suspect they would, do unto you". That's a very miserable philosophy.

Yeah? Wel screw you both. hard. In the ass.
Just Kidding. a little bit of political humor there.
i worry that when i have kids, they will be different in some way (be it gay, or something similar), and have to deal with idots that STILL havent figured out that being different is not only okay, but what makes everything better.
I also have this horrible fear that i will alsways be working my ass off to just barely break even. Right now i work 45-50 hours a week, and my fiance works full time, and we have had to budget everything. Everything! I went from being able to have a 6 pack of beer every couple of days to having a single can of fosters every 4 or 5....
I know it sdoesnt sound like much, but beer is to me what coffee and cigarrettes are to others. Stress is bad enough, but it is even worse when you get stripped of your vices.
