Tom Arnold's "The Stupids." I cried like a baby.
Actually ... I think the only movie that has made me sad since I've "grown up" was Titanic.
Vodstok
07-08-2004, 07:56 AM
Here are some real bad ones for me:
The Abyss: When Ed HArris has his breakdown because he let his wife drown, and then cant revivie her. That absolutely kills me.
Oddly enough, the end of brother bear. (god im a wuss)
The Sixth Sense. The end of that movie turns me into a blubbering idiot. i was on a date the first time i saw it, and i didnt want a third (i got talked into a second date after a blind date...) date, so i had to hide it. Godamn that was hard. didnt want to let on that i was a "sensitive guy", because then she NEVER would have left me alone.
Oh god, i think i was having some emotional problems at the time, but AI had me bawlinglike a little girl at the end...
Jesus, i'm getting too emotional in my old age.
Titanic was pretty awful too. the first time i saw it was in a theater witrh 2 of my freinds. Imagine a 21 year old man and 2 25 years olds walking out of a theater crying. pretty godamn emberrasing.

So you think you're tough because you suppress your emotions? That's lovely.
I DID cry when I saw Titanic, thank you very much.

07-08-2004, 08:53 AM
hahha. its a joke
but actulaly i really cant remember crying, but i know i definitely didnt cry at titanic. i thought it was dumb and if i didnt cry then i defnitely wouldnt cry now
im pretty sure ive cried at movies but i cant think of any of them, for the life of me
i know i teared up minutely at moulin rouge but nothing like bawling. i think though im kind of over crying times.. my aunt died a few months ago of cancer. i was scared to go to the funeral cuz ive never been (cept when i was really lilttle) and well when i first saw the cofffin and everyone, i teraed up a tiny tiny bit. but then afterward i was done. i was actually happy, it was a nice ceremony that everyoe could say good bye to, that and she had been in so much pain i was just glad she could rest.
i dunno, i guess im not so much of a crier the past few years.......

If my work will let it. I hate this job so much, but I can't find anything else. My boss is out to get me, and they've isolated me from the rest of the people on the team that I work in. I expect to be fired shortly. It's my own fault, but they're rubbing it in my goddamn face.

07-08-2004, 09:05 AM
I don't know what I'm going to do if I lose this job. It took me 2 months just to find a tech support job. The market is overflowing right now.
Sigh... I need to learn how to control my emotions. Now I'm sitting here about to cry.

07-08-2004, 09:05 AM
sucks. but who cares about work? pull a 180 and quit. anyway i dont know the wohle story but ok mayeb theyre trying to fuck with u. importnat thing is u cant let it get to u! maybe ull get fired maybe ull stay in who nkows but either way ull be fineeeeee. thats the important part!
the little princess. somem ovie abou a girl that was a princess but she had to live as a commoner and then her dad came over and didnt believe it was her. i remember crying at that. but i was like 10 so i duno if that counts.
fluffho
07-08-2004, 09:08 AM
waww dude im sorry. its ok to cry though. well guess it would be easier to aim this but whatever works
i guess it wil be hard but hey shit happens. important thing is there is more out there.
i dunno i guess things used to bug me before, and as horrible as this sounds, its like ive stopped caring. like somethin big just happened in my life a month or so ago... and i cried probably a total of 8 minutes.. not more than 10 for sure. i just got it all out and i was like 'ok why am i gona sit here crying about this, i hafto look ahead.' well id go into detail but not. anyway was a BIG part of my life that is now gone and thats what scared me. it was like security and then BAM its gone.
but im fuckin good now, better than ive ever been and dont regret anything. i think eventually u will feel the same way. then u can say nuts to that job and the assholes in it!!
Freddy Krueger.

E.T. I still get a tear in my eye till this day when I watch that movie....
Also I said it in another thread on this topic but Saving Private Ryan, the part when Giovanni Ribisi's character dies that's just fucking sad, didn't make me cry but had my emotions all fucked up, thinking about just how many men died like that during ww2 or any war for that matter...
Fox And The Hound gets me every time to...

Debbie Does Dallas.....
Why oh WHY didnt Debbie live in Pennsylvania cruel cruel world.
on a more serious note:
American History X ......at the end when the kid got shot and died
right there in a damn urinal.
Armageddon..... when Bruce pulled Jo Lo's bitch back out of the elevator and told him to take care of his little girl etc. *thinking Liv Tyler is going to make one sexy ass mom*
Saving Private Ryan.... if there was a hell, Im thinking that beach scene would be a mirror image of it.
Cabin Fever.... I felt really bad for the blonde chick that was treated like an animal, scratch that, less than an animal and put in the shed to die.
Completely agree with you Maximus about Gladiator
Casualties of War, the bridge scene with the pow. Always hated Sean Penn after that, thankfully through the years he's succeeded in giving more than enough reason to keep on hating.
All of the Austin Powers movies..... makes me very sad that they were willing to spend that much money on that crap

Yeah my dad was in Nam, said there was all kind of fucked up shit that happened over there, soldiers raping young Vietnamese girls, frienly fire killings and all kinds of crazy shit.....
Both of my Grandfathers were in WW2, one in France during the invasion, the other was in the Navy and was at Pearl Harbor, another extremely fucked up thing that happened...

This may sound strange but one of the saddest movies I can recall watching was actually an anime. It was called Barefoot Gen and it basically follows a little boy's life as he tries to survive the attack on Hiroshima. This is the only movie i can really recall crying like a baby when it was over.

No shit...... Very sad. That is why they say PTSD is so bad for those guys, not only did they fight through the worst shit humanly possible, but they came back to exactly 0 support. Fucking Jane Fonda....
I agree on Gladiator, Platoon and Armageddon. I hate Affleck, but Bruce Willis is the man.
It never made me tear up, but i always found the slaughter of the SEAL team in the Rock very upsetting. Fucking cowards mowed them down for no reason.
