"When there's no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the earth."
One of the most successful independent movies ever made. Dawn of the Dead is the second installment in George A. Romero's Dead Trilogy. It set the standard for zombie movies, just as Night of the Living Dead did ten years earlier. One of the greatest zombie movies I have ever seen in my life. The special effects are amazing and gory as hell.
Behind all of the blood and zombies is a deeper story though. It is a story of human survival, and trying to get on with life, even though there are billions of zombies walking the earth. The charters are so well developed, and you will find yourself rooting for them.
This movie is quite possibly one of the most important horror movies ever made, and should be seen by all.
