A separate for everybody doing 31 days of Halloween/The october challenge/... however you wish to call it.::wink::
Do you do it? Do you pick a theme and if so, how?
And so on and so on. ::cool::

I did my first october challenge only last year and completely loved it.
So for this year, I picked "road trip" as a theme: a trip through the US. Start in Hawaii and then state by state (Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona,...); 1 movie set in each state and then see how many states I can cover in 31 days.
So far I have mostly been going on things like "the united states of horror": https://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3341258/heres-us-map-showing-horror-movies-took-place/
How reliable are those things and are there other/better sources I could use?

@ fnaf (https://fnafonline.io) If I were to participate, I might choose a theme based on something I enjoy or am currently inspired by. For example, if you love horror stories, you might choose a theme that involves famous horror movies or urban legends. Or if you are into art, you might choose a theme that involves different art styles to explore for the month. The key is to choose a theme that you are excited about and can keep you creative throughout the 31 days!

That's a nifty theme (1 movie per state) as it's likely to get you to see some movies you havent seen before.
I was considering doing a Best Horror Film of all-time tourney for 2024, or something like that (like best werewolf of all-time), but I'm not so sure we have a good 6-12 participants on the forum for it. ::cool::
Could I watch a horror film every day in oct? I kinda doubt it. I like the horror genre of course, but I think I'd get burned out.

Thanks. Indeed, lots of stuff in there I have not seen yet.

We kick things off on Hawaii with a bit of Karloff.
