Back around 1989-1990, I saw a movie or episode on cable TV where someone sitting in a couch/recliner in a nicely-lit lounge room gets pulled into the chair by some evil character/being.
So basically they end up being bent in half and pulled through the crack between the seat and backrest ::big grin::
It had a very 80s look to it, and it was the kind of stunt that Freddy Krueger would pull, but it doesn't seem to be in any Freddy films. I don't remember whether it was a movie or a show. It's possible it was a Tales from the Crypt-type show.
