Early '00's a silent restoration VHS quality scanned onto discs after the collector finally gave in towards the end of his life. 2010 a book/DVD came out with a score to it. 2016 1 restoration with new organ soundtrack. 2018 library of congress restoration with new soundtrack. The film needs to still be cleaned up somewhat for a BenQ HT2050A projector to yield the same results on a 100" screen as some of the newer Bluray transfers of 1920's Silent Films to look great on.

Interesting seeing this is color. Pretty bizarre transformation effects in the vat. Did you understand the meaning of the movie regarding the mirror and resolution?
