Need Help Getting an Author Started

Hello,

I have a friend who is trying to get his horror novel off the ground. He is an indie artist and the artwork for the book was produced by independent artists too!! Sadly not everyone appreciates the genre as much these days, so he is facing some struggles. It would be greatly appreciated if the kind folks on this forum could involved on this project or help point me to better ways to promote the book!! Thank you in advance.

I'm struggling with this, too, so I'm probably not going to be able to give you too much help, but...I could at least suggest maybe looking into Publishizer https://publishizer.com/ or something like Smashwords. Getting an agent might help it happen. I think there's plenty that represent horror. Various self-publishing platforms with no upfront costs.
