What's the best recent Horror/Thriller films?
(In the last few years, say since 2010.)

I'd like to check out some of the newer ones this Halloween.

The Raven (2012) was a pretty good and well crafted period thriller with John Cusack convincing as Poe.

Train to Busan - well done Korean zombie
The Conjuring - scary late 70's-ish
Hush - bit Hitchcockian
Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016)
The Babysitter (good first 3/4th, bit of a 80's homage)

I haven't seen them yet, but many have recommended these: Anyone second these?

Terrified (Aterrados) (2017) Spanish language "When strange events occur in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, a doctor specializing in the paranormal, her colleague, and an ex police officer decide to investigate further."

Hereditary (2018) - A grieving family is haunted by tragic and disturbing occurrences.

The VVitch (2015) - hard to understand at times what's being said due to accents, but a superb film!

The Dead (2010), The Shrine (2010), You're Next (2011).

Evil Dead (2013). You've probably seen it already. If not, then it's also recommended.

Also, I forgot to mention...

Oculus (2013).

You may have seen it, but, it seems that many horror fans haven't.
