"Perpetual Grace LTD"
I saw this all over some billboards recently, as there's a new season out.
Wasn't that interested, but then I saw this trailer...

Bein Kingsley & Jacki Weaver play two kind of con artists it seems, and have scammed money out of a lot of people...
(have not seen it yet, perhaps a religious thing?)
...while kind of posing as pillars of the community type.
Anyways the two fellas at the beginning seem to be onto what's going on, and hatch a plan to rip them off, part of which seems an attempted imprisonment.
Evidently, while he seems like a friendly, meek kind of character it's very much a guise for a pretty dark person that will violently and ruthlessly protect what's theirs - getting out, going back and...revenge?
That's what I took from it anyways.
Not sure who's meant to be the protagonist or antagonist here, or if it's just a show full of one kind of shitty person or another.
Apparently the director did a show called "Patriot" back in 2015 that seemed well liked.
