FT - I was just made aware of this by someone else.

As I've noted before, I'm myself not always around and I don't delve into every thread at all times...though we do look in when we can.

I want to apologise on behalf of the mod team if you feel like something that bothered you wasn't acted on appropriately.
It was played off as banter, and at the time that was said, I think bloof was just trying to be diplomatic, and went with the narrative provided at the time.

I want to make clear that regardless of any positive experience/s I've had with any of the other members here, whether or not they contribute to the better health of the forum...when a person has been here for a time, often they can feel as though things can play a bit looser around them. They can't.

Disciplinary action has been taken.

So from now on, for all of you - If it's the kind of shit that'll get you "pulled into HR", consider that off the table to say to anyone here.

MR, if/when you come back this time, you've made some positive steps and I've seen that, but I can't let you throw around this kind of talk, no matter how harmless you think it is. You did upset FT, which is proof enough to know sometimes we're not the best judge of our own words...which is unfortunately "why we are here".
I don't want to see you GONE for good, but this needed to be acted on.
I'll protect the place when I need to, I'd rather you didn't make me have to.

It does sound pretty ridiculous. But consider, the commander is also trying to keep his troops there, when there may not be a reason to have an army anymore. So when there's no more law, cops, courts, prisons, soldiers may think getting a wife from one of the last remaining females on earth might be a good idea. Or maybe not. ::big grin:: It's a wacky situation, but besides being unethical, how realistic it was didn't bother me that much.
