Does anyone remember the Detroit/New Orleans TV horror host Morgus?
I watched his show when I lived in Detroit in the 1960's, he hosted the old-time horror films of the 1931-1960 era.
His show featured comedy and mad-scientist experiments while the horror film he was hosting was paused. I believe Morgus also appeared in at least one low-budget horror film. Morgus clips can be found on www.youtube.com
We once went to a local high school where Morgus was appearing. Morgus thought my 3-year old brother Richard was cute when my brother raised his hand and asked him a question. Morgus came down into the audience, picked up my brother and was about to answer his question, but my 3-year old brother Richard got scared and yelled out "Put me down, Goddammit!". Morgus and the audience laughed. ::big grin::
