Demons (1985) (https://youtu.be/_cNjTdFHL8E) was a great horror film. The demons themselves were ghoulish and terrifying. Demons 2 (1986) was good too, but it didn't live up to the original. What are everyone's thoughts on the film Demons and its sequels? I've only seen up to Demons 2. There is supposedly more but I haven't paid much attention to them.

I really enjoyed both. Actually should revisit them.

Yep, I've been meaning to watch the first one again for some time. Thanks for the reminder, UDW!

Demons 2 is a good sequel, but it lacked the same feel of the original. I know sequels shouldn't necessarily be linear but there was that magic that the original Demons had that wasn't replicated in the sequel.

I love Demons but one thing gets my goat, why would a blind man go to the cinema to watch a horror movie? ::shocked::

Saw "Demons" a few weeks ago, not a bad movie at all. Watched the original "Nightmare on Elm Street" today, realized I had never seen it before.

Great movie and the first film by Dario Argento, that I recall seeing (that or Suspiria). And I liked the sequel almost as much. The third one was the only film, from the franchise, I didn't care for.

I love, love the setting. It's one of my favorites. Also like other one location movies

I really like the first Demon film, it has a fun and original plot. Characters stuck in a building trying to escape a murderous rampage, nice gore and good one liners.

The second one had a different atmosphere, it felt a bit more "serious" and I felt the writing wasn't as good BUT I still enjoyed it.

The special effects makeup still hold up for both movies, I mean that bathroom scene in the first movie was great. The movies are over the top (in a good way), there are some really likable characters and one liners.

So I have a special place in my heart for movies with demons from the 80's, like Night of the Demons and Evil Dead 2. If you guys have any other demon movies from the 80's throw them at me!
