Most Overrated Film

Since you guys brought it up i have decided to go with a most OVERRATED post..

My personal overrated movie would have to be "The Mothman Prophecies," and "Spiderman"

The Hulk...What an unbelievable amount of promotion and merchandising, for such an amazingly shitty, CGI overloaded, abomination....The entire movie was just one huge commercial:rolleyes:

Secret Window. Talk about predictable. I don't know if it's overrated or not, but I sat there through the whole thing watching my thoughts play out. No surprises at all.

I loved Ghost Ship, just wattched it this morning, actually. And Spawn was amazing!!!First "R" rated movie I ever saw.....my Dad found out it was "R" about half way through.....lol but he let me watch it anyway:D

Ghost Ship--loved the first 10 minutes, the rest sucked
Spawn--I didn't think it was terrible
And John Woo, cmon...The Killer, Hard Boiled,Bullet in the Head, these were great movies.Sure he got a little too Hollywood as of late, but his Hong Kong stuff rocked. Just my opinion.

I'm glad someone mentioned The Killer and Hard Boiled or I was going to! Those are two of my favorite action movies! Fucking badass!


I thought The Ring was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY over hyped by people who saw it and thought it was great! That movie sucked bad! Never saw Ringu but if it is responsible for The Ring then I won't be rushing out to rent it anytime soon.

Another movie that sucked hard was Phantasm. And all of it's sequels. The lamest villain. (The Tall Man... Ooooo! Give me a fucking break! This guy is just plain retarded.) Stupid Hero. (Reggie? Come on... The fat bald guy with a ponytail?) Retarded plot. (Too dumb to comment on.) Overall, the first one sucked bad and they got increasingly worse from there.
