I am currently an IMDB user, however I'm kind of considering moving to Letterboxd. I know that its going to be a huge hastle to redo all of my ratings, reviews, list etc, and I don't have money to buy a paid account (which I believe lets you export and transport lists). Anyone have a favourite, or any pros and cons that would help me (and anyone else) decide between the two? Would be much appreciated, thanks ::confused:: ::smile::

Trying Letterboxd now. At first glance, it seems easier to connect with other members here. Looking forward to comparing the two over the following weeks.

Regarding the possibilities connecting with other members I can see the advantages in Letterboxd as IMDB has none and I miss that quite alot. There's a lot of insight to be found there amongst a lot of bullshit.

Hmm... I might have to check it out as well.

IMDB has authorized your termination if you do. And I want to do it too.

I dont’t see why you should choose Letterboxed over IMDB and I don’t see why you would need both as the concept is the same. I don’t see a user forum either, so why bother? What I DO see tho is a fuck lot of annoying pop-up adds everywhere I go on the site. Screw this shit.

Today, I found out Letterboxd allows you to filter the films on your watchlist based on the services where they are available in your area. Thus making ti easier to watch them legally.
