When cult leader Immortan Joe sends Imperator Furiosa off in an armored tanker truck to collect gasoline, he sees her drive significantly off route. In a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, two rebels just might be able to restore order: Max, a man of action and of few words, and Furiosa, a woman of action who is looking to make it back to her childhood homeland.

Fantastic movie, but I wouldn't call it horror.

I see that, but check out the title (Mad Max: Fury Road Horror or not?). As the question is posed in the title, I thought the thread was a discussion on whether or not it could be considered horror.

Might as well ask if The Martian is horror.

The Martian is comedy.

I laughed out loud when I read that comment!!

Mad Max is obviously an action movie. There's absolutely nothing in the movie to even consider it a horror.
One or two quick images of ghosts from his past doesn't make it a horror.
It's pure adrenaline fuelled action cinema at it's best!

The first Mad Max film had more elements of horror than Fury Road. It had the exploitation elements in the storyline that could be compared to something like Last House on the Left.

Immortan Joe does look like a villain from a Rob Zombie movie.

Nah, even though I was somehow a bit frightened at some parts. The movie is in my opinion not even close as being qualified as a horror movie.

This comment is dead on even without any "Ts" in "Martian".

My comment is, indeed, a shitpost.

Mad Max is not a horror movie.
