Making a title all caps clearly means its important! I was just reading that Empire of the Dead is being picked up by AMC and will be their next big series. WRITEN BY GEORGE A ROMERO!!!!!!!!!!

meh... the whole zombie thing is getting old and overdone. I am fine with Walking Dead but Fear The Walking Dead did not interest me and I only watched the first episode. The problem with zombies is its always the exact same thing. Romero or not, I am not really interested.

I don't know if it's being biased because I'm not a zombie fan or what, but I agree with Morningriser. Zombie shows today are a dime a dozen. ::roll eyes::

I agree with the two above.

Lets try something new. A horror series about night terrors would be nice.

I also agree about there being too many shows about zombies. Let's try something different, eh?

Empire, as long as its played well and I think it will be considering its being written by the same person/people who wrote the comics, should be uniquely interesting. For one, it brings Vampires into the Zombie world, that by itself is intriguing. Regardless, I lost interest in the Walking dead two episodes into season 2 and had no interest in the new one. As far as I am concerned we still need the first "Good" Zombie series to show up, everything so far has been a waste of time has been all in all disappointing.

Zombies are old hat now,let them rot in peace, they have had their day.

As for Romero being involved, well that doesnt work for me neither. His original trilogy set the benchmark in modern horror but alas,he also sent it back again with the second trilogy. So,am i excited to see Romero again..........the answer is no,not really.

Its unfortunate how jaded everyone gets... This is a new horror series, keeping our genre relevant in a world of Justin Beiber's and Aria Grande's. The story is pretty fun being based well after the plague has set in and civilization has started trying to live around it. Vampires rule Manhattan and the zombies are growing more intelligent by the day. The few real humans left are barely holding on. It sounds like a blast. Far from the basic look dead things! Shoot em in the head!
