Hi everyone, my name is Jason Brower and I'm an artist who does work for Little Shoppe of Horrors magazine and, most recently, We Belong Dead magazine. I also do sketch card work for Topps, Upper Deck, Monsterwax, and Viceroy Card Co. It's a pleasure to be here and I hope you enjoy my work. To kick things off, here are some samples of my LSOH work.

Thanks, guys, I really appreciate it. The first Christopher Lee will be in the recent issue of Little Shoppe of Horrors #35. It focuses on Frankenstein Created Woman and is also a Christopher Lee tribute issue. It's shipping right now.

I work in all types of mediums from classic acrylics on canvas to markers on sketch cards, but, my favorite is the combination of markers and acrylics. The pieces I posted here are marker backgrounds with acrylics subjects. Thanks again! I'll post some of my sketch card work today at some point.

Here are some sketch cards. I find this series fitting to post first because of the title. I liked this series because I didn't use any reference and had fun coming up with totally original versions of classic monsters.

Here are some assorted 4" X 6" horror portraits. I'm including the link to my facebook art pageand want everyone to be aware that I do take commissions of all types. Thanks!

Them werewolf ones... ::love::
Do you sell your work as prints? If I caught you at a con I'd be looking for some.

Right on! Mixed medium is my favorite too. I like using graphite and colored pencils with water color or coffee myself. With occasional ink when needed. Ever tried using coffee as a medium? It's fun. 8)

Thanks, Roiffalo, being a werewolf enthusiast I knew you'd like those! ::smile:: I do and would sell anything as a print and am just starting to get out into the convention circuit. Getting ready to investigate some horror cons in the Northeast and line-up a few for next year. I do commissions as well. I haven't tried the coffee yet but might have to soon!

Here's a design that I did for a contest earlier in the year. I almost forgot about this, but, a fitting day to post! I like this a lot and might have to make some prints. Acrylics and markers on 9" X 12" bristol board.

That's fine you feel that way. You can't please everyone.

Here's a fun idea I had with Garbage Pail Kids. Instead of doing faithful copies of the original characters (like I have so many times with these and Wacky Packages for the Topps company) I decided to do my own take on the monster characters from the original 15 series. I put a little more realism into them , as well. Enjoy, I had a lot of fun with these!

Ringing in the new year with a new website and two new business cards, one for general artwork and one for horror/sketch cards/ illustration. The website is www.jasonbrowerart.com. It's still being put together and set up, but, stop by and take a look. Thanks.
