actually .. some people agree that the harry potter series can be quite dark in the reading material.. also.. i haven't seen the new movie, but i heard it took a much darker direction.. being that i havent' read the books.. and have only seen the first two movies... i can't say

I don't read as much as I would like to, but from what I hear, there isn't much of anything interesting that has been written. Unless you want to read Bill Clinton's autobiography.
