Anyone else besides me looking forward to this? It starts next Thursday, September 24th. Some old characters coming back. Zachary Levi is playing a straight dramatic role.

I remember binge watching the original in college. Actually saw the trailer for Reborn yesterday and it made me feel nostalgic. I doubt I'll watch it though. The original got to much like a soap opera to keep my attention so I never even finished it.

Episodes 1 & 2 "Brave New World, Odessa" I thought it was a pretty good start to the first episode and it was nice to see some familiar faces show up throughout. I thought there were a couple interesting new additions to the cast I especially enjoyed Henry Zebrowski's character. I wasn't feeling the video game animation scenes though. I had missed most of seasons 3 and 4 but felt this was good enough as a jumping on point.

Agreed, Monkey! I enjoyed it, I hope they can keep it up.

I liked it.

It didn't have the magic that Heroes season 1 did (and only season 1 really...to an extent, 4) but it was watchable and interesting.

I was expecting crap - now I'm looking forward to continue watching.
Videogame girl is a bit of a lame idea though...the rest has been fine, that just feels somehow out of place - and it seems like it may be what leads to the Hiro reintroduction (the sword) so maybe that'll get better then.

Overall 7/10 for me. I'll keep watching.
To this day I blame the writers strike for the slow decline of what started out as brilliance.

Video game girl?

I'll watch it after I finish re-watching all four seasons of the original though.

I've watched it a little further...I think it's "ok", but really as it moves along it doesn't seem as though it's picking up any steam really...I'm just not finding myself that invested in the overall storyline.
Last episode had some time travel elements which I liked, and that explained a few things, but even with the big reveal we got, I just found I didn't really care.
Again...goddamn...heroes season 1 was SO good.
