Hope this link works. If it does, click Monster Bash Conference on the right, and find out the sched, prices and guests. Barbara Steele is going to be one of the guests.
Yeah, BARBARA STEELE!

Anyone in the area, or around the world who is going to check this out?

It's a real must for the fans of the classic Universal Monsters, and horror in general.

Monster convention in my state this is all I ever wanted in life. Ugh this site though. I can't get dates or places. Looks like there's something going on now through this weekend but that's far to last minute for me to join in on the festivities. 8(

Aww, Thats a shame. Are you familiar with this event, Hammer? In the past they've had some pretty big stars from Hammer Studios golden age. Keep an eye on it for the twice yearly cons. Eventually they may have a guest that makes your long drive worthwhile.

No, I hadn't heard of it. I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Maybe a long weekend would do!

Hot darn if that wouldn't be the perfect way to celebrate a birthday!

I'll be checking that site out ASAP, thanks for the heads up, Repo!

My pleasure. This con is a little tamer than a lot I've been to but it's a great time for fans of the classics. Some of the other cons cater to a rowdier crowd, which I am sometimes proud to be a part of, but this one's more chill and family oriented. Knowing how much you love the Universal monsters and werewolves, I feel like this con is perfect for you. Plus, the proximity to your casa!

Hope to see ya there!

I'm not much for large groups of people so tame sounds fine with me. I'm planning on taking that weekend off so I can go. Any details yon have so we can meet up would be good. PM me 8)

I know you'll enjoy everything about the con, Roi. It's such a relaxed atmosphere and the place is packed with horror geeks of all ages. I'll definitely pm you after my insane weekend is over and we'll work out a way to meet up. Your first horror convention. I'm so excited for you!
