Though I tend to agree, I grew up on Goosebumps. It's what got me into horror. I still have every book in the original series as well as all seasons of the show. I will definitely be seeing this film.

I don't think I'm excited enough to see it in theaters, but I'll at least be looking it up after the DVD release. If anything to critique the creatures in it. That was always what made the Goosebumps series so memorable, and I'm hoping they come even halfway close to that.

90's kids unite!!! I'll watch it for nostalgic reasons alone, but my younger cousin wants me to go see it with him too. He's just getting into the Goosebumps books.

I really don't like the premise of this movie. I wish they'd just done an anthology. It feels less like a Goosebumps movie, and more like a movie about Goosebumps.
These aren't the characters we grew up with, with unique origins and motives. If they came out of fictional books, then it means none of the stories we read or watched really happened.
Also, most of these creatures would not take orders from Slappy.

When did Goosebumps turn to nonsensical shit?
