My name is Alexa and I'm a lifelong horror fan/collector. Is there anyone else here that collects VHS tapes?!

I do! I keep our old VHS copies of movies that my dad trades up to DVDs from. Watch them in my room on my VHS player. Still listen to cassette tapes too! Call me old fashioned, but I appreciate the classics. ;)

Oh and welcome to the forum!

It's all about that awesome feeling of nostalgia. The classics will always look the best when viewed on a VCR. Thanks for the reply!

I collect horror movies on DVD as well.....I've just been extremely focused on expanding my VHS collection. Haha, that is exactly how I am too. Figures, comics, games, movies, posters.......and the list goes on and on. I'm running out of room with all of the different items that I collect. ::big grin::

Thanks! When someone asks me about that movie I just tell them, "it contains exploding hookers...and that is all you need to know." hahaha ::big grin::

Oh dear. How much time you got? ::big grin::

If it's not obvious by now, I have a certain fondness for werewolves. Naturally many of my favorite movies are werewolf classics such as The Wolfman, American Werewolf in London, and The Howling (I & IV), to more modern (sometimes goofy) takes such as WolfCop. I'm a bit pathetic and like the more lame stuff too like Teen Wolf, Big Wolf on Campus, Cursed (it wasn't well received by most audiences but I have my reasons), Paul Naschy movies (Frankenstein's Bloody Terror being my favorite of those), and more that I'm probably too ashamed to admit.

Non-werewolf, I very much love the Hellraiser, Fri13th, and Halloween series. And the Exorcist and Poltergeist are also some favorites. I'm cliche like that. I collect cheesy and vintage horror flicks so I have a loooooot that I can name. To keep it simple my favorite vintage horrors are House on Haunted Hill, Psycho (I know I went cliche with that one too), and The Screaming Skull, and the Invisible Man/Woman.

Non-horror my two favorites are Batman (1989) and Jurassic Park. 8)

There's more to be sure but it's bedtime so ::smile::

Sweet. Hellraiser is absolutely one of my favorites as well. I have all of the Hellraiser NECA figures, haha. I'm very fond of all the classics. (Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, etc.) But aside from the obvious choices, I love:
-Maniac
-The Prowler
-Silent Night, Deadly Night
-The Blob (Remake)
-Pieces
-Re-Animator
-Demons
-The Stuff
-The Thing
-Tourist Trap
-Nail Gun Massacre.......and I can continue with the list forever lol. I LOVE cheesy bad horror movies too....so I'm a huge Troma and Full Moon fan.

My favorite non-horror are Quentin Tarantino's movies as well as Martin Scorsese's movies.

Hello and welcome to the forum ::cool::

It's great to see new people and the type of horror movies they are into!

The only 2 boxed figures I have are Freddy and Jason.

I used to have horror movie posters all over my apartments back in the day and when I still lived at home, my entire room was done in the Lost Boys including an awesome cardboard stand up that was huge!!

I am into so many different types of horror but I would say that my favorites are vampires, zombies, and demons.

Love the gore!!!!!!! ::love::::love::
