I mean...of course, there's going to be a lot of "this is unneccessary" out there, but we're now living in the age of the remake...
Some of the series adaptations of earlier movies have been pretty promising though, and this one looks to be something of an interesting re imagining.
I'll be looking in on this for sure.

This just looks like a potentially solid show. I like the cast (except for that chick that's in f'n everything...) and have always enjoyed the long con/heist type stories.
Looks orright.

Yes Westworld appears interesting.
Also Fear the Walking Dead has the possibility to be good, but i'm keeping my expectations low.

Oh. It is? Damn, now to get it somewhere else than amazon. Ty.
edit: Just checked, not out yet. Damn you! It also seems the second episode came out in July and the 3rd comes out in November? Odd.

I always check out new HBO series. They're not always good but it's always quality.
Currently watching The Brink, a new HBO comedy series starring Jack Black, Tim Robbins and other familiar faces.
HBO also bought the rights to a book about Vietnam.
I'm SO looking forward to that.
And they're working on a rock 'n' roll series set in the seventies.
I read about something else but I can't recall the name.
It's supposed to be like Mad Men but in the 70's instead of the 60's and with more sex and drugs.
But when it comes to other series I often try to wait until after the first season.
Because if it gets cancelled and ends with a cliffhanger then I'm not gonna start.

Ugh. The ending of My So Called Life broke my heart a little. The lack of no ending for Carnivale frustrates me to no end. I still love watching it though.

I LOVE Carnivale!!! There was also no ending for The Glades (on A&E)....and it ended with a cliffhanger!

Never watched the Glades. Yeah I love Carnivale too. The only tv series I own on DVD. I should get BSG too. And maybe the Golden Girls. But anyway, did you read the wiki about Carnivale? It has the show's creator discussing how the series would have gone if it had its full six seasons. Very interesting and unique story.

No, I didn't! I'll have to look it up! I own a few series on DVD: Angel, Buffy, NCIS, Carnivale, Robin Hood, Cadfael, Firefly

No ending is one of the most frustrating things there is.
They did the same thing with Deadwood. Different degree as with Carnivale though but still.

I'll have to check that out.
Thanks!
