I was just thinking about this game. I think there was two of them. They were point and click puzzle solving games. The second one was easily one of the most disturbing games I have ever played. Anyone else play through these?

Sadly no. I only played The 7th Guest. Horrible acting, but it was pretty spooky.

If you can hunt it out or Torrent it, this is 100X better than 7th guest was. I liked 7th guest, and its sequel 11th hour but this game is twisted compared to them. The cut scenes can make you cringe. One in particular im thinking of involves the improper removal of a piercing.

Nice.
I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

Oh yeah, I still have this one and I remember playing it fondly. I was really into all those puzzle FMV games like 7th Guest, 11th Hour, Shivers, and the like along with Sierra games like Gabriel Knight so it was right in my wheelhouse. You can still find it on Good Old Games www.gog.com

I played it last year - I'm partial to old Sierra, just never got around to it as I was too young when it was released.
I think I bought at gog.com for 5 bucks or something.
Extremely creepy. And gory. And rapey.
And pretty challenging at times! If you're anything like me, except to die a lot. Like a LOT.
Didn't play Puzzle of Flesh, thinking about it though.

Puzzle of Flesh will blow your mind, please play it. There isn't much out there as scary.

Nice, let me know what you think. Its a mind trip. I also think there are a handful of different endings based on your choices through the game.

Will do!
And I do like an alternate ending. Except when you have no save game to be able to see it, YouTube just isn't the same,
Just got another recommendation: "The Dark Corners of Earth", ring any bells?

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, I actually had it in my XBox until I started packing up my man cave. It's a lot of fun and I think it's available for the PC too.

Only people without great gaming PCs AND a ton of consoles say that. ;)

Its the only console I have! Lol. I don't have a great gaming PC, to expensive. But I do have a ton of emulators on my PC, if those count as console's. I have my PC run to my TV and I play my Nintendo and SNES games through there.

Awesome, I was pretty annoyed when I'd heard great things about it and then realized the guy talking was a console person. I'm PC all the way, but have to admit I've stayed in more than one relationship just a that liiiittle while longer it took to say properly goodbye to the guy's PS.
Really no ennuendo there.
Look forward checking it out!

What got me about Puzzle of Flesh was that it was live action. It just felt that much more real with the lights out and the speakers up.

Wow,I'm back here in these forums after a very very long time....::smile::
Anyway,on topic,I love this game.I know many people think it's cheesy or it's more of an interactive movie or a B horror movie...but I love it.
Maybe because one of my best friends had originally bought it when it came out in the 90s and I had a guide for it in a magazine and we could play together, but I love it.The characters, the locations, the dialogue.
Although the last puzzle was brutal.Truly brutal. There was just no way for someone to figure out without using google or a guide or something.
