So I am very much into music that gives me shivers, and I am always looking for new music projects/bands, that have a creepy, haunting atmosphere, mostly namely Dark Ambient music. So to give an example, some songs of bands that I like:
Sui Generis Umbra - Comayhem (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxR-VaDBcHE)
Polish band, they also do dark electro stuff, but always with a dark, creepy undertone.
Aghast - Sacrifice (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnhhgOPMHy0)
Should many people know from Sinister, this formation doesn't exist anymore with the original members, but is continued by one member with the name "Aghast Manor".
Hexentanz - Mark of the Witch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjWakBmGWm4)
Is a project that has its origins in a black metal band called "Black Funeral", who also done one Dark Ambient album.
So I see this kind of music is not everybody's taste, but if somebody has this taste and has some good bands to mention, please, I would appreciate it ;)

Also some songs by The Vanishing, though they mostly do death rock rather than ambient.

I like listening to dark ambient myself, but I'm not all sure what you'd classify that as.
Band wise I like http://uncertain.bandcamp.com/
And I also listen to stuff like this just to sleep. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjSyVYBuuIAm3t8r9iApTq3OgOIVbC5Z0
I'll have to check out your links. Much interested in finding some more to listen too. 8)

I've only listened to Today is the Day's self titled album, but it never fails to upset and make me feel wrong emotionally. Wrong is not the right word, but best I can think of at the moment. Its not dark ambient, but it is unsettling/upsetting.

How could I forget Midnight Syndicate! ...well I don't listen to them as often as I should is maybe why. I have 'Born of the Night', 'Realm of Shadows', and 'Vampyre'. All are just amazing, I like to listen to them all in one go on my media player while drawing or writing.
...Also just occurred to me that Mannheim Steamroller has some nice Halloween albums with some lovely ambient tracks. Some are remixes or remakes if you will of some classic horror themes, and others are nice spooky sounds that I personally use for sleep. Very relaxing, very well made. Highly recommend.
