I too am a fan of Metallica, Ozzy, Slipknot,and Rammstein. One of my favorite concerts that I went to was Metallica with Danzig and Suicidal Tendicies. It was awesome!! I also like Kiss, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Disturbed, Korn, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Tool, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Mudvayne, Cannibal Corpse, Rage Against the Machine, Breaking Benjamin, and Drowning Pool.

I went to see them two years ago or actually the band was called Danzig. He was the lead singer who created the bands Samhain, Misfits, and Danzig. Danzig is a pretty crummy band only a few of his song are any good, but when he had his other bands the songs were awesome. But when I was at the concert the played mostly song from his later band The Misfits that was awesome!

Heres what the misfits guitarist looks like man he was awesome but his brother is a butthole though. another reason why the misfits broke up.

they were a different animal with bonn scott on vocals but stick with them, brian jhonson is a fantastic front man, the later albums will grow on you.

Correct about their first few albums. Mainly i am targeting their later songs. At least when I when i went to one of their concerts two years ago they played their early stuff. Mostly they played stuff from when they were called the misfits. They even had Doyle back with them.

Kinda difficult to separate "metal" from hard rock & nu metal. Like Baron Von Marlon said, I'm more into hard rock & classic rock than "metal".

Favs would be: AC/DC, Def Leppard & Mastedon (not Mastodon)

I was more into progressive and classic rock than metal. And don't listen to much of it these days, haven't kept up. But listening to the beginning of this local metal show, I know there's a lot of really good new metal.
